The house is just a 5-minute walk from the ferry landing stage that takes you to Intra, on the Piedmont side of the lake. From Intra, you can reach the Borromeo Islands. Adventure lovers can instead board a panoramic cable car, the "Funivia del Lago Maggioreto” to the summit of Sasso del Ferro, a breathtaking panoramic point overlooking the lake and the surrounding mountains.
