The small town has some excellent restaurants and for self-catering there is a supermarket. The weekly farmers market (Tuesday morning) is a treasure trove of the best local ingredients. Sestri Levante’s historic centre is a 14-minute drive. Here, visitors can explore the narrow streets and beautiful squares. The famous Baia del Silenzio (Bay of Silence) is one of the most popular beaches on this stunning coast. There is also a ferry service from Sestri Levante up the coast to Rapallo or south to the famous Cinque Terre. Away from the beach, visitors will find some spectacular hiking in the hills behind the town. Genova’s International Airport is a 50-minute drive from the apartment.
