Escape to the heart of Salento, and this gorgeous first-floor apartment for 4. This charming apartment is full of light and surrounded by lush gardens, with a shared pool and private balcony.
It makes an ideal base for friends or family who want to relax in the sun but also explore the glorious beaches and historic sights of Puglia.
The open-plan living area consists of a sitting area with a sofa, dining table and a flat-screen TV. The adjoining kitchen is equipped with an induction hob, kettle, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and a Moka coffee maker.
Guests will want to spend most of their time on the balcony or in the delightful garden, which has been created with as much attention to detail as the interiors. There are sun loungers next to the private swimming pool so guests can relax in the sun after a refreshing dip. The shaded dining area on the private balcony ensures memorable meals al fresco.

Location
The house is set between the two charming towns of Carpignano Salentino (4 minutes) and Martano (3 minutes) in quiet surroundings. Martano is a lovely Greco-Salentine town that has retained its medieval walls and historic buildings. It is fascinating to wander through the streets and soak up the atmosphere. You can also try the local cuisine, tasty local wines and some of the best olive oil in Italy at one of the many excellent restaurants in the town. The weekly market takes place on Tuesday morning, and a great place to pick up the freshest local ingredients.
Neighbouring Carpignano Salentino is also packed with history. The Byzantine frescoes in the Cripta di Santa Cristina are not to be missed. Some date back as far as 959AD. The Ducale Palace and the Palazzo Chironi are also worth visiting. The town has many excellent grocery stores and supermarkets. The weekly market takes place on Saturday mornings.
The historic port town of Otranto (18 minutes), with its castle, lively harbour and stunning beach, makes a great day out.
Not to be missed is the city of Lecce, the “Florence of the South” (25 minutes). The city is famous for its magnificent Baroque architecture and Roman treasures.
The closest airport is at Brindisi - just an hour away by car.

Le logement est à l'étage d'une résidence privée très arborée et dotée d'une jolie piscine. Voiture indispensable pour rayonner aux alentours car la zone est plutot rurale. Il y a de nombreux animaux qui vivent librement dans la propriété (chats, oies, paon, et coqs...) cela apporte beaucoup de charme mais cela peut etre bruyant entre 4 et 6h du matin. Sommeils légers s'abstenir. Sinon rien a dire nous avons passé un agréable séjour 😊

Wunderschöne Anlage mit einem traumhaften Pool, einem weitläufigen Garten und einer tollen Terrasse. Bei der Unterkunft handelt es sich um ein zweistöckiges Haus, die Wohnung oben wird an Feriengäste vermietet. Sie hat ein Wohn- und ein Schlafzimmer, jeweils ausgestattet mit einer großen Fensterfront und dadurch hell und freundlich. Von der schönen Terrasse aus bietet sich zu allen Seiten ein Blick in die tolle Gartenanlage, durch die man selbstvergessen streifen kann, sowie auf den Bilderbuch-Pool mit Liegen und Daybed-Cabana. Abends wird alles mit Lichterketten beleuchtet und bekommt dadurch eine besondere Atmosphäre. Im Garten streifen Katzen, Hühner und Pfauen umher (deren Rufe sind immer wieder zu hören). Wenn man hier ist, vergisst man fast, dass man Apulien erkunden wollte, und möchte sich einfach nur fallen lassen. Die freundlichen Hausbesitzer haben uns am ersten Abend begrüßt und waren dann während unseres Aufenthalts nicht vor Ort, dafür ein sehr netter Angestellter, der z.B. den Pool gereinigt hat. Die Wohnung ist einfach, aber gemütlich eingerichtet, die Ausstattung der Küche war etwas spartanisch, aber ausreichend. Einziger Minuspunkt sind die sich wiederholenden (kurzen) Stromausfälle. Man ist in ca. 15-20 Min. Fahrt an der Küste und hat dort gleich mehrere Strände zur Auswahl. Otranto und Lecce sind nicht weit entfernt - und auch ein abendlicher Ausflug ins nahe Martano ist zu empfehlen (dort unbedingt die Pizzeria Danisi besuchen). Kurzum: Ein toller Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung Apuliens - und ebenso ein toller Ort zum Entspannen, Ruhe tanken und Träumen!

Serdecznie polecam ten obiekt każdemu, kto szuka komfortowego i przyjaznego miejsca na wypoczynek! Kontakt z Marią oraz gospodarzami był bezproblemowy i bardzo sympatyczny. Lokalizacja apartamentu jest świetna – stanowi doskonałą bazę zarówno do zwiedzania pobliskich, urokliwych miejscowości, jak i relaksu na plaży. Sam apartament jest zadbany, czysty i w pełni wyposażony we wszystko, co potrzebne do wygodnego pobytu. Na szczególną uwagę zasługuje przepiękny ogród, który jest doskonale utrzymany, a także nowy, duży basen, idealny do wypoczynku w ciągu dnia. Wieczorem miejsce nabiera wyjątkowego klimatu i prezentuje się niezwykle malowniczo. Gospodarze są bardzo gościnni i można poczuć się tam jak w domu. Komunikują się tylko po włosku, ale nowoczesne technologie ułatwiają porozumiewanie się. Ugościli nas pysznymi, lokalnymi specjałami przygotowanymi przez gospodynię, a z okazji moich urodzin przygotowali nawet tort! Było to niezwykle miłe. Dziękuję i z pewnością tu wrócimy!
