We had a lovely stay at this villa and we are considering returning next year. The view was fantastic and the property was in good condition - with a newly revamped kitchen too! I do however think that the description of the villa should be updated to advise that the access road leading up to the villa is partly unmade and it is advisable to have a larger car with higher ground clearance to avoid any damage to the underside, however we were fortunate enough to have this already! It’s steep in places too but this is to be expected for its lovely view overlooking the sea. We also think that guests should be advised what days/times the pool cleaner will arrive as it seemed like we had someone visit almost every day at differing times! However, it’s good to have this service included multiple times during the stay and the frequency isn’t the issue here. Overall, we had an amazing holiday in this villa and we would highly recommend it to others wanting to escape the everyday grind! ⭐️

We had an absolutely wonderful four-night stay in this beautiful villa and can highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in Greece. The villa had everything we could possibly need—we didn’t miss a thing. The highlight was undoubtedly the breathtaking panoramic sea views and the spectacular sunsets every evening. Enjoying dinner at the outdoor dining area while watching the sun set over the sea was an unforgettable experience. The pool was fantastic and quickly became our family’s favorite spot. With four comfortable sun loungers, a great barbecue, and generous outdoor living spaces, we spent most of our time outside enjoying the amazing surroundings. The villa was spotless, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for a perfect stay. We felt at home from the moment we arrived and would happily have stayed much longer. A truly exceptional holiday home that we would love to return to. Five stars don’t feel like enough!

This is the second time we stayed at beautiful Villa Filokalia for two weeks and we loved it! Perched on top of a hill with spectacular views of the endless Ionian Sea, Zakynthos and Kefalonia, stunning sunsets every evening. Very private and peaceful Arcadian setting nestled amidst olive trees and a landscaped garden, no one around except for some grazing goats that occasionally pass by through the olive grove. The pool is wonderful to have as well with deck chairs and parasols! A house boy comes to clean the pool regularly. The house is comfortable and very tastefully furnished. Great mattresses to ensure deep sleep and amazing air conditioning. The only thing I would have to say is that the winding road up to the house is very steep (maybe a 30 degree incline), so that a strong and sturdy 4x4 vehicle (the higher, the better) is good to have. But once you've made it to the top, you'll be rewarded with unprecedented views! I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. The cream of the crop.

We had a wonderful week in this airbnb. The sunset view is stunning! Better than in the pictures. The beach is nearby in 5 minutes, I would recommend the Golden Beach - beautiful water and sand. Will definetly come back one day.

A truly unique location surrounded by nature, with spectacular sea views. We absolutely loved the peace and quiet, as well as the lovely swimming pool. The “Golden Beach”, with its beautiful sandy shore, and the village of Kastro—with the impressive Chlemoutsi Castle and a great selection of good tavernas—are both just a 5-minute drive away. Villa Filokalia can be reached from the main road in 2–3 minutes by car via an unpaved rural road that is quite steep in some sections. However, this is absolutely worth it for the wonderful location and tranquillity. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Villa Filokalia!

The views are truly exceptional - we knew that as we have been to this area many times before. The pool area is also beautiful and comfortable. Welcoming fruit and a bottle of wine. The house was mostly clean and well provisioned.

Το δυνατό σημείο του καταλύματος είναι η υπέροχη θέα και η μεγάλη πισίνα. Ωστόσο, η συνολική μας εμπειρία επηρεάστηκε αρνητικά από σημαντικά ζητήματα. Η πρόσβαση στο σπίτι είναι δύσκολη, καθώς απαιτείται διέλευση από χωματόδρομο με μεγάλες πέτρες και λακκούβες, γεγονός που έκανε τις καθημερινές μετακινήσεις κουραστικές. Κατά την αναχώρησή μας, με το αυτοκίνητο φορτωμένο, προκλήθηκε ζημιά στο ψυγείο του οχήματο, με αποτέλεσμα να φτάσουμε οριακά στην Αθήνα χωρίς να χρειαστούμε οδική βοήθεια. Επίσης, κατά την άφιξη δεν υπήρχε ούτε ένα μπουκάλι νερό στο ψυγείο, ενώ έλειπαν και βασικά αντικείμενα όπως μανταλάκια για τις απλώστρες. Τα περισσότερα έπιπλα είναι φθαρμένα και χρειάζονται ανανέωση. Επιπλέον, υπήρξε σοβαρό πρόβλημα με μέλισσες στον εξωτερικό χώρο, σε σημείο που χάσαμε μία ολόκληρη ημέρα χρήσης της πισίνας. Παρότι ο συντηρητής ανταποκρίθηκε μετά από επανειλημμένες επικοινωνίες και έλαβε μέτρα που βελτίωσαν την κατάσταση, το πρόβλημα είχε ήδη επηρεάσει σημαντικά τη διαμονή μας.
