Location Punat is a picturesque old port on the island of Krk. It is a popular holiday destination with plenty to do. The town centre (5 minutes walk) has many shops, markets and supermarkets to help make self-catering a breeze. If you do not feel like cooking there are excellent restaurants and cafés, serving regional food and fresh fish. If you can tear yourself away from some of the Adriatic’s most beautiful beaches, such as Medena Beach (6 minutes drive) and want a more active holiday then sailing, diving, water-skiing and wind-surfing is all available nearby (20 minutes walk. There are also boat excursions (1 minute walk) to the islands in the bay which make a fun day out. Rijeka International Airport is just 40 minutes away.
