Nearby Ispra and Laveno offer a variety of restaurants and sports clubs, as well as ferry connections to destinations such as the Hermitage of Reno "Santa Caterina del Sasso" and the ancient castle of Angera, all within a 7-16 minute drive from the holiday apartment.
Visitors to Leggiuno can also take advantage of the ferry connections in Laveno (a 15-minute drive) to explore the western shore of Lake Maggiore, where they can enjoy boat tours of the Borromean Islands, visit the gardens of Villa Taranto, take the scenic cable car ride on the Mottarone cable car, admire the beautiful Villa Pallavicino, and explore the stunning Alpine Botanical Garden. With so much to see and do, Leggiuno is the perfect destination for those seeking a relaxing and culturally rich Italian vacation. The nearest international airport is Milan Bergamo, approximately a 90-minute drive from here.

Die Lage war super. Direkt an der Straße aber trotzdem sehr ruhig. Ca. 5 min zu Fuß zum See und einem kleinen schönen Café am Ufer.

The apartment is spacious and well equipped, however a dishwasher is missing. Self-check-in and directions were properly explained in advance. Cleanliness is OK, but could be improved, as well as the overall condition - it looks far better in the photos than it feels in reality. The bed in the master bedroom is squeaking even with the smallest movement - even turning around will wake up your baby! - and the mattress is extremely soft and due for a urgent replacement. No personal recommendations or useful tips for the area were provided - you feel accepted but not welcome. The communication with the agency dealing with the property feels really exhausting - you get mails and WhatsApp from a number of contacts and if you raise a question you sometimes don't even get a reply. They are completely obsessed with waste disposal - all the information we found in the apartment and received during our stay focused on when, where and what to put in which bin, although it's just the basic stuff you anyway know from any place in Europe!? Altogether we can only give an average rating, in particular considering the ambitious price-level.

Wir waren mit 4 Erwachsenen in der Ferienwohnung. September 2023. Die Terrasse riesig, aber nur eine kleine Sitzlounge.. 2Sessel und ein Zweisitzer. Nicht gerade bequem. Keine Liegen. Das Geschirr und Besteck war nur für 4 Personen, kein Flaschenöffner, Korkenzieher, keine Eierbecher usw.. Kaffeemaschine war eine Espressokan er für 2 Tassen. Bis alle eine Tasse Kaffee hatten, dauerte ewig. Man muß auch viele Treppen hoch um in die Wohnung zu kommen. Die. 2 Schlafzimmer waren im Haus auch wieder über eine Treppe die schlecht begehbar war zu erreichen. Ein Schlafzimmer hatte eine Falttür die nicht richtig funktionierte. Das 2. Schlafzimmer war ok und das obere Badezimmer auch. Das 2. Bad war auf der Wohnebene und die Fugen in der Dusche waren schwarz statt weiß. Dann lag das Haus an einer sehr befahrenen Straße. Wir würden uns da nicht nochmal einmieten. Der Ort hat auch nicht viel zu bieten. 10km um Brötchen zu holen. Allerdings konnte man zu Fuß an eine Badestelle laufen. Ca. 15 min.. Alles in allem war es nichts für uns. Aber der Lago Maggiore ist eine Reise wert. Auf jeden Fall die eigentlich schöne und sehr große Terrasse besser ausstatten. Ebenfalls Küchenutensilien.

Die Wohnung war sauber und alles benötigte vorhanden. Die Terasse ist sehr schön und lädt zum verweilen ein. Sie ist sehr einfach möbliert. Eine Waschmaschine ist vorhanden. Das ist sehr praktisch.
