Nestled on a sunny hillside above Lake Maggiore, a 5-minute drive from Stresa, this spacious, split-level apartment sleeps five guests and is part of a small complex with a pool. Inside, the characterful apartment enjoys a s comfortable living space furnished with a sofa, two armchairs, a coffee table and a digital flat-screen TV. The separate eat-in kitchen is furnished with a dining table and fitted with; a cooker hob, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, a coffee machine and a fridge freezer. Location The apartment is situated in Vezzo a small, picturesque village located in northern Italy. The elevated position of the village provides panoramic views of Lake Maggiore and the surrounding hills and forests offer numerous trails for hiking and nature walks. The closest restaurant is a 1-minute walk away and there are several supermarkets within a 10-minute drive. The village is a great base from which to explore other charming towns around Lake Maggiore, such as Stresa (a 12-minute drive), Baveno (a 13-minute drive), and Verbania (a 20-minute drive). These towns offer attractions, including botanical gardens, historic villas and vibrant markets. From Stresa guests will find frequent boat tours to the Borromeo’s islands and for golf enthusiasts Golf Club Alpino di Stresa is a 3-minute drive away. The closest international airport is Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP), a 40-minute drive from the accommodation.

FANTASTICO! this place is a gem. Highly recommend for a peaceful stay near Lago Maggiore (15 mins drive to Stresa). Excellent communication with the rental agency (Lorena @ Happy Rentals), they were very friendly and helpful and always responded quickly to any questions (via whatsapp). The property and setting are beautiful, the house is adorable inside & out and the pool is heavenly. Everything is very clean and we had all we needed for our stay. The family who lives on the property are the sweetest (and Tobia, the cutest!), we really enjoyed chatting with Maurizio and look forward to keeping in touch! Our Italian is very rudimentary but they were very patient with us using the translate app :) Two words of caution: there is no AC in the house so it can get pretty hot in the bedrooms in the summer, you will want to take that into consideration if anyone in your group is sensitive to the heat. The other is that the roads leading up to Vezzo are pretty narrow with sharp turns, definitely doable but you may want to prepare yourself if you’re a nervous driver or are driving a large vehicle. One more thing is that you will need to plan to drive for food, etc. There is a restaurant across the street which was recommended by Maurizio but we didn’t get a chance to make it over there, he also brought us to a cafe/bakery & market in Gignese but I didn’t get the names - there are also plentyyy of places in Stresa. Overall I absolutely love this place and I cannot wait to go back!

Très grande maison avec toutes les facilités. Nos hôtes ont été très accueillants. Maurizio nous donnait toutes les informations pour visiter la région. Très grande piscine à partager avec les propriétaires. Logement très calme et très bien équipé, dans un petit village. Juste quelques kilomètres à faire pour trouver un magasin dans le village à côté, Gignèse. Location à recommander et un petit coucou à nos hôtes qui étaient très sympathiques et serviables.

L\'accueil est top, l\'arrivee est facile, en toute autonomie. La maison est très bien équipée. Le temps étant pluvieux au début du séjour, tout a été mis en place pour que notre confort soit maximum. Le propriétaire est très aimable, serviable et de bon conseil concernant les visites à faire. Les lits étaient très confortables. Nous avons passé un très bon week-end en famille
