An impressive antique wooden dresser, traditional stone walls and exposed timber create a warm atmosphere for relaxing after a day exploring the coast. The fully equipped kitchen includes a cooker hob, refrigerator with freezer, coffee-making facilities and everything needed for preparing homemade meals. Guests can easily explore the medieval streets of Koper, the elegant Titov Square, the Venetian Old Town and the lively waterfront promenade filled with cafés and restaurants. Some of Slovenia's most beautiful beaches are within easy driving distance, including Strunjan Nature Reserve, where crystal-clear waters, dramatic cliffs and scenic coastal walking trails create one of the country's most picturesque seaside destinations. Nature lovers can also visit the spectacular Škocjan Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its underground canyons and remarkable karst formations. The surrounding wine region offers numerous wineries and tasting experiences, including Bordon Wines, only a few minutes from the cottage. The location also provides an excellent base for day trips to Piran, Izola, the Karst region, and even nearby Trieste in Italy. The nearest airport is Trieste Airport (approximately 50 minutes), while Ljubljana Airport can be reached in around 80 minutes.
