This beautifully blended villa for 10 is peacefully immersed amongst fields of olive groves in Carpignano Salentino. The accommodation combines contemporary architecture and fittings with a beautifully converted stone-built Trullo. The property is surrounded by an expansive fenced garden with a gorgeous new heated pool and two covered terraces providing plenty of tranquil space to relax, enjoy a refreshing dip in the pool, or dine alfresco. Inside the accommodation is arranged across two separate buildings with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and two comfortable open-plan living spaces that incorporate kitchens and ample space for dining. These spaces are furnished with flat-screen TVs, comfortable sofas, and dining tables. Both kitchens are fitted with a coffee machine, an induction hob, an oven and a fridge freezer, making it a joy to prepare meals. Sleeping Bedrooms 1 & 2: Both bedroom features double bed and air-conditioning. Bedroom 3: This bedroom features two single beds and air conditioning. Here, visitors can discover the original medieval walls, historic buildings, and soak up the atmosphere or try the local cuisine at one of the many excellent restaurants in the town. The equally pretty town of Melendugno is also close by (an 8-minute drive). Here, every Wednesday morning, the town hosts a weekly market, which is the best place to find the freshest local produce, from olive oil and cheeses to honey and fruit. For those keen on further exploration, the picturesque towns of Otranto and Lecce provide more history and culture and are approximately a 25-minute drive. Beach lovers will find the Ionian coast just a 10-minute drive away. offering sun-soaked days by the water. Golfers will enjoy the two courses near the town of Acaya, or more exercise and a hike through unspoiled Mediterranean countryside, there is the WWF nature reserve of Le Cesine, both are a 25-minute drive. Non so nemmeno da dove iniziare. Questa villa non è una semplice casa vacanze: è un’esperienza che dovrebbe essere patrimonio dell’umanità. Appena varcato il cancello abbiamo capito di essere entrati in un altro mondo. La piscina è qualcosa di fuori da ogni logica: enorme, spettacolare, perfettamente incastonata nel paesaggio e talmente bella che quasi dispiace entrarci… quasi. Il giardino è curato in ogni minimo dettaglio, le palme sembrano uscite da una pubblicità di lusso e il panorama regala una sensazione di pace assoluta. La villa è talmente bella che a un certo punto abbiamo seriamente valutato di non tornare più a casa. Ogni angolo sembra progettato per una copertina di una rivista. Tramonti, piscina, ulivi, lettini, silenzio… sembrava di essere dentro un film. Nota di merito anche per l’atmosfera: zero stress, zero rumori, solo relax totale. La mattina uscire e trovarsi davanti questo spettacolo ti fa dimenticare completamente che esista il lunedì. Abbiamo soggiornato qui e possiamo dirlo senza esagerare: ha superato qualsiasi aspettativa possibile. Anzi, il problema è che dopo una settimana qui, qualsiasi altra vacanza sembrerà mediocre. 10 stelle non basterebbero. Se state cercando un posto dove rilassarvi, divertirvi e sentirvi per qualche giorno come se aveste vinto alla lotteria, prenotate senza pensarci due volte. Ci torneremo? Assolutamente sì.

We had a wonderful time staying at the property. It far surpassed our expectations. We were welcomed by Maria & the owner, both of whom were very friendly, communication throughout was prompt & any questions answered clearly. The property is wonderfully well equipped with plenty of crockery & cutlery, towels, pool towels for everyone. There is so much room, even with a large group of family & friends there we could still find a little nook to sit & read peacefully. The swimming pool is fantastic, we used it everyday. It’s in such a beautiful location set amongst olive trees, my favourite thing was to sit out first thing in the morning with my first coffee of the day & soak up the surroundings. You won’t regret booking this orooerty, it’s wonderful. We hope to be back later in the year.

Trullo Mary is beautifull, clean and looked pretty new. I recommend it as a getaway in the quiter part of Puglia, but it does come with some downsides like noise from the construction zone of solar panels right next to the house (not shown on pictures), the heavy and cold winds on the location (you are right next to wind turbines, I can imagine wind is nice in hot summers though), the pool light needs fixing, the showers were cold most of the days, and we really expected the pool to be heated since the heated pool is literally mentioned in the title and you are paying 30 a day, on top of the booking price for electircity. It was ice cold in early september but I guess it could be nice in 40 C. Also, expect not cook at the location since there isn't enough power to actually have several pans on. Still, this property is really beautifull and offers a nice stay. The small town nearby is also within 6 mins driving and pretty cute.
