It is less than 10 minutes from beautiful beaches and is a popular holiday destination with plenty to do. The famous seaside monastery and port at Glavotok are only 5 minutes away. If you can tear yourself away from the beach and want a more active holiday, then sailing, diving, water-skiing, wind-surfing, tennis, hiking and much more, are all within easy reach of the apartment. The town of Krk (20 mins) makes a fascinating day out. The ancient port, with its narrow cobbled streets, has plenty of interesting places to visit. For self-catering, the market is worth a trip, to pick up the freshest local produce to prepare and enjoy back home. If you do not feel like cooking there are many excellent restaurants and cafés, serving regional food and fresh fish. Rijeka International Airport is just 30 minutes away.
