This is one of Croatia's great gastronomic corners, famous for its wines, olive oils and rich country cooking, with picturesque hill villages, vineyards and quiet lanes made for walking and cycling. When you fancy the sea, the pretty bays of Raša and Trget are about fifteen minutes away by car, with clear water for swimming and snorkelling.
