The town of Pazzallo is at the foot of Monte San Salvatore. The apartment is close to the funicular railway, which guests can take up to the top of the mountain for spectacular views, or down to the lovely lakeside town of Paradiso, with its lido and excellent restaurants. The city of Lugano has much to see including MASI, The Museum of Art of Italian Switzerland, which hosts regular contemporary art exhibitions. For something more peaceful there are hiking and cycling trails in the nearby mountains. As well as water sports on the lake, power boat hire, kayaking and for the brave - extreme sports. The closest international airports are in Italy - Milan Malpensa and Milan Linate, both 1 hour 15 minutes by car.
