Location Ceriale's train station is just a 5-minute walk away, with restaurants, pubs, the beach at Lido Azzurro and the seafront promenade along Lungomare Generale Armando all within 10 minutes on foot. The café-lined Piazza della Vittoria is the same 10-minute walk, good for a morning espresso. Further afield, Albenga's historic centre is a 10-minute drive, with its medieval towers, Roman ruins and the Cathedral of San Michele, and boat trips run from there to the protected nature reserve of Gallinara Island in around 15 minutes. Finalborgo, one of Italy's officially listed most beautiful villages, with its medieval walls and artisan shops, is a 30-minute drive, and families can reach the Le Caravelle water park in a short drive too. The wider area also makes a good base for inland trails, mountain biking routes and historic towns like Alassio and Toirano, known for its limestone caves. Genoa City Airport is about an hour's drive from here.
