Quietly situated in a historic building directly on the shores of Lake Maggiore this rustic escape features terracotta tiled floors and original wooden beamed ceilings.
The property looks out over a small harbour onto the lake itself and enjoys a cosy living room which is furnished with a comfortable sofa, two armchairs, a fireplace and a smart flat-screen HDTV. The dining room is arranged separately and there is also a small kitchen fitted with; a cooker hob, an oven, a microwave, a coffee machine, a fridge freezer and a breakfast table for two. Outside, guests can relax on the communal terrace in front of the building.

The apartment is situated in Lisanza, a small village on the eastern shore of Lake Maggiore, close to the Swiss border. The area around Lisanza is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, with opportunities for hiking, cycling, swimming, sailing and windsurfing during the warmer months. The closest restaurant is a 10-minute walk and there is a supermarket a 10-minute drive from the accommodation.
Guests will also find plenty of picturesque beaches and gardens dotted along the shoreline - Spiaggia dei Pobi is a 5-minute drive away (a 30-minute walk) and Torre di Lisanza which offers an incredible view over the lake a 12-minute walk away.
Popular nearby excursions include trips to the historic towns of Laveno-Mombello (a 30-minute drive) and Luino (a 50-minute drive), a day out exploring Italy’s fashion capital Milan (a one-hour drive) and the picturesque lakeside town of Stresa (a 40-minute drive).
The closest international airport to Lisanza is Malpensa Airport (MXP) approximately a 30-minute drive from the accommodation.
