In the charming seaside village of Lu Bagnu, this ground-floor apartment sleeps up to 4 people. It is just a 3-minute drive from the stunning beach, which is as popular with locals as it is with tourists. Nearby are some of north-western Sardinia’s most beautiful towns and historic sites. So there is plenty for a family or friends to do, in this less-discovered part of the island.
The apartment has an open-plan living area furnished with a sofa, a flat-screen TV, a dining table and chairs, plus a modern fitted kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with an induction hob, oven, dishwasher, coffee machine and fridge/freezer. Double French windows lead from the living room to a terrace which is partly shaded and acts as an extended living area for the apartment. The terrace is furnished with a dining table and chairs for relaxed meals al fresco.

Location
Lu Bagnu, on the eastern shores of the Gulf of Asinara, is well-known for its lovely beaches and clear sea. The beach at Lu Bagnu is suitable for children and families. Visitors can enjoy snorkelling, scuba diving, surfing (there is a surf club in the town) and wind-surfing. Lu Bagnu has cafés and restaurants to suit all budgets. For self-catering there is a supermarket 5 minutes from the apartment.
Just up the coast, is the town of Castelsardo (8 minutes). It has been voted one of the 100 most beautiful towns in Italy and it is easy to see why. The town is dominated by the Castello dei Doria, a Medieval fortress, which is now a very popular museum of traditional Meditteranean life. Castelsardo is ideal for strolling and can easily be explored on foot. It makes a great day out.
There are ferries between Porto di Castelsardo (6 minutes) and Corsica, so visitors can explore Sardinia and its northern neighbour.
Alghero Airport is just 1 hour away by car. Olbia airport is 1 hour and 30 minutes.
