The beautiful city of Lugano is 20 minutes away and Mendrisio, known as Il Magnifico Borgo (The Magnificent Town) is just 10 minutes. Both offer history, culture and delicious food in abundance and are certainly worth a visit. The closest international airport is in Italy - Milan Malpensa is 40 minutes away by car.
