The property is located in the countryside a 2-minute drive from Torre Pali a charming coastal village in the Salento region of southern Italy, known for its beautiful beaches, clear turquoise waters and relaxed atmosphere.
The closest beach to the accommodation is the gorgeous Spiaggia Calette di Salve which is just a 5-minute walk and the magnificent Spiaggia di Pescoluse is a 7-minute drive. Known as ‘Maldive del Salento’ this beach is renowned for its crystal-clear turquoise waters and fine white sand, reminiscent of the tropical Maldives islands. The whole coastline is popular for indulging in water sports, including; snorkelling, diving, kayaking and paddleboarding. In Spiaggia di Torre Vado (a 12-minute drive) there is a small marina where visitors can rent a boat to explore nearby coves and caves. There is a restaurant a 1-minute walk away and a number of grocery stores within a 5-minute drive.
Popular excursions nearby include; a visit to Santa Maria di Leuca (a 21-minute drive) which lies at the southernmost tip of the Salento Peninsula, a trip to the beautiful Baroque city of Lecce, known as the "Florence of the South" or an outing to the picturesque city of Otranto known for its beaches, charming old town, medieval castle and Byzantine-era cathedral both of which are approximately a 55-minute drive away.
