This first-floor apartment occupies the 1st floor of a contemporary building in a quiet part of Losone, just a short drive from Ascona on the shores of Lake Maggiore. It offers an ideal holiday base for people who want to get out into nature, for hiking or biking, or golf in Losone and Ascona. Yet it is conveniently close to shops, restaurants and bars, as well as the world-famous Ascona Jazz Festival, and Locarno Film Festival.
Access is via an outdoor staircase up to the front door, which opens onto the first-floor living space. The apartment sleeps 4 people and is tastefully decorated in a contemporary style. The open-plan living area is flooded with sunlight thanks to several windows and French windows which lead out to a private balcony on the south face, and a private garden on the north. A café-style table and chairs on the balcony invite guests to relax outside with a cup of coffee or glass of wine. Back inside, the seating area is furnished with a leather sofa, armchairs and a flat-screen TV. The dining table for 6 people, is next to the French windows and also an open fireplace. The immaculate kitchen is next to the dining table and enjoys a panoramic view of the nearby mountains. It is equipped with an induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and coffee machine.
The apartment has a private garden with a lawn and balcony, where guests can relax in peace. It is appointed with a sun lounger and table and chairs for drinks al fresco.

Location
The apartment is in a quiet area just 5 minutes from the centre of Losone. Guests can find all amenities close by, including supermarkets (3 minutes) and banks, as well as a wide range of excellent restaurants to suit all budgets. For people who want to enjoy the area’s natural beauty, there are many pretty hikes along the river Maggia that runs through the town. The Golf Gerre Losone golf course is just 5 minutes away, for a round of golf in stunning surroundings.
On Lake Maggiore is the charming town of Ascona, with its painted houses, squares and gorgeous lakeside promenade (5 minutes - 2km) by car or bike. The small beaches, which are ideal for lake swimming or sunbathing in peace, are just 8 minutes away. And, of course, it is home to the inspirational Jazz Festival every July. This is not to be missed.
Guests can enjoy La Dolce Vita, with a Swiss touch in Locarno. The Thursday market in Piazza Grande combines a farmers’ market, where you can pick up the best local produce, with stalls selling regional crafts and second-hand clothes, books etc.
The closest international airport is in Italy, Milan Malpensa is 1 hour 35 minutes away by car.
