The property situated on the ridge of a hill overlooking the Valdera on the border of the provinces of Siena and Florence, is well suited as a starting point to visit the cities of art, the Romanesque parish churches along the historic Via Francigena and the medieval castles in the surrounding area. About 5 km away, in the centre of Gambassi Terme, there is a thermal centre where you can drink natural spring water, rich in numerous purifying properties, and relax in the wellness centre. Around Catignano there are many white roads and paths, to be travelled on foot, on horseback or by mountain bike. For golf lovers, there is a well-equipped centre in Castelfalfi, about 18 km away. Wine shop and tasting of typical dishes about 5 km away.
