Angera benefits from the evening sun along the lakeside making it the ideal spot for an evening dip. For those looking to explore Lake Maggiore, there is a car-passenger ferry stop a 5-minute drive away or approximately a 30-minute walk. Parco del Golfo della Quassa the waterfront nature park featuring walking & biking routes, beach areas and historic sites is a 5-minute drive away. This historic village is quieter than some of the more tourist hotspots like Stressa (a 40-minute drive) or Anora (a 20-minute drive), however they are both within easy reach if you want to liven things up. The nearest airport is Milan Malpensa Airport, approximately a 40-minute drive from the accommodation.
