Conveniently located in the hamlet of Cavigliano a 5-minute walk from a well-connected railway station this property also benefits from a pharmacy and a small supermarket in the immediate vicinity. The region offers numerous opportunities for hiking and trekking, with popular trails offering breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys and peaks. Golf Gerre Losone, a popular golf club is nearby and wine lovers will enjoy Vini e Distillati Delea Angelo, a winery offering guided visits of its distillery, wine cellars, boutique and Balsamic vinegar production, both are only a 9-minute drive away from the accommodation. Verzasca Valley with its picturesque villages is a 35-minute drive away where the river offers opportunities for swimming and the iconic Ponte dei Salti, a double-arch stone bridge, is a popular spot for photography. The area is also rich in history and there are several castles and historical sites scattered throughout the area. Some notable ones include Castello Visconteo (a 13-minute drive away) in Locarno and Castello di Montebello (a 38-minute drive away) in Bellinzona. Lake Maggiore and the charming town of Locarno are a 10-minute drive away from the accommodation. The town is known for its mild climate, beautiful lakeside setting and well-preserved medieval old town. Lake Maggiore is one of the largest and most scenic lakes in Italy and Switzerland offers various recreational activities, including boating and sailing. Locarno also hosts the famous Locarno Film Festival, one of the most prominent film festivals in Europe, attracting visitors and cinephiles from around the world. The closest airport to the accommodation is Lugano Airport (LUG) a 49-minute drive away. The hamlet of Cavigliano is also easily accessible by train (the station is well-connected and is about 200m away).
