Another lovely resort on the Ligurian coast, Imperia is a fascinating destination, well-known for its harbour and for typical local products, it is also called the “Town of olive oil”. This apartment is an ideal base from which to explore the area and sports enthusiasts. On the second floor of a traditional building, the apartment sleeps 4-6 people. The room is furnished with an attractive modern sofa, flat-screen TV, dining table and chairs. The kitchen is partially separated by a breakfast bar. It has been beautifully fitted out with smart units and is well-equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, and coffee machine.

Location
The city of Imperia is made up of a collection of villages scattered across the hills of the Imperia River valley, and around the glorious bay that is the centre of the city. The apartment is just a 15-minute walk from the seashore and there are several beaches in the city itself. Imperia is known for its orange and terracotta-coloured buildings which line the seafront. The promenade takes you past marinas full of yachts, both big and small, excellent restaurants and bars.
Away from the coast, there is plenty to see and do, including numerous oil mills to visit. The apartment is close to a new cycle path which is a great way to explore the area. There are extensive cycle routes in the hills behind the city. Alternatively, for some real adventure, guests can try canyoning in the Ligurian Alps, starting from Triora (1 hour 10 minutes).
For self-catering the Mercato Andrea Doria (Wednesday and Saturday) is a treasure trove of local produce, which you can then enjoy back home. Otherwise, there are many smaller shops and supermarkets within easy reach.
The closest airports are in Genoa and Nice, France, both are 1 hour and 20 minutes drive from the apartment.
