Ascona Jazz Night is a renowned annual festival in Ascona, Switzerland, known for its high-quality performances by both established and emerging jazz musicians. Running for over 30 years, it has become a major attraction for jazz enthusiasts across Europe and beyond. 

This year, it takes place on June 25th, featuring performances across open-air stages, jazz clubs, and hotels. Beyond the music, visitors can enjoy local food, drinks, and cultural events, making Ascona Jazz Night a must-visit celebration of jazz and community. 

The Programme

The festival’s programme features around 200 concerts across ten days on multiple stages in the piazzas, bars and alleys of the old town, blending New Orleans jazz with swing, blues, R&B, gospel and soul in a vibrant, free-entry atmosphere. The German funk band Radius, winner of the AET My Choice Audience Award 2025, is confirmed as the first act for the 2026 lineup, promising one of the standout performances of the festival

Jazz Friends and How to Get Involved  

This year, JazzAscona will be 100% free. Gone are the gates, queues, and tickets, allowing the festival to extend beyond the lakeside promenade and envelop the entire town. This approach aims to recreate the spontaneous and festive atmosphere reminiscent of the festival's early editions.

Camelie Locarno 2026

Swim into a sea of flowers with Camelie Locarno!This year, Camelie Locarno will take place for the 24th time from 18 to 22 March 2026 at the Parco delle Camelie in Locarno. A scientific exhibition, with over 200 types of this flower, splendidly arranged by experienced gardeners in the private and public gardens of the Locarno region. Also open to visitors during the exhibition will be Parco delle Camelie, which became part of the “Gardens of Switzerland” circuit and bears the "Garden of excellence" label awarded by the International Camellia Society.
