Super nice house, had all (except a cheese cutter) the things we needed. Absolutely stunning views, easy to get to, easy to check in via the keybox, everything felt very new and in great condition. Could have used some AC, but other than that it was fantastic.

Villa Aurelia provided a lovely few days on our second week at Lake Como. The apartment was well equipped and clean. Weather conditions were extremely hot, however abundant fans aided that. The shared pool was lovely to dip in early mornings and evening, never being overly crowded. It was a short drive to Menaggio, which was a bustling little town, great access to ferries etc to visit other towns. Only comment would be the narrow and steep approach and access to the underground parking. Fine in a small car, however tricky in a VW Transporter and any large estate car, I expect.

sehr zufrieden und sehr gemühtlich. Der Pool war zugedeckt und konnten ihn daher nicht benutzen. Viellecht war dies absichtlich so, weil das Wetter nicht optimal war. Trotzdem hätten wir gerne gebadet im Pool. Wir eine hatten dennoch eine sehr schöne Zeit und genossen die Morgen- und Abendstimmung jedes mal. Wir können das Haus sehr empfehlen!

June 2017 Villa Aurelia is a wonderful place to stay during your visit to Lake Como. We have a young family and the villa was perfect - the little garden area at the front was wonderful for our two to run around when we were home! The villa itself was spotless and we loved the amenities it had, even including plastic cups and plates for the children. Our son loved the pool and went in it every day. The views were spectacular and the villa itself is in a great location. It's only a 5min drive down to Menaggio (in our opinion the most family friendly town in Como) but also with great access to the ferry for day trips to Varenna and Bellagio. And finally the host was great - fantastic communication and they even provided a travel cot on request. We would definitely recommend this villa for couples/families. Thanks so much! Lauren, UK

Super Haus, wir haben allerdings angenommen die Unterkunft verfügt über eigenen Pool. Haben aber falsch gelesen. Die Bilder haben es aber etwas suggeriert. Etwas zu teuer.

The house was well stocked with cutlery, crockery and linen but there was a lack of basic cooking items such as salt, pepper, suger, flour etc. Similarly, there was no salt or rinse aid for the dishwasher and just two tablets. This made it necessary to make an early visit to a supermarket but directions to the nearest ones were not provided. The freezer and barbecue were found to be dirty. The very hot weather during our visit highlighted the lack of air conditioning and the multiple fans provided were not much help. The swimming pool was well maintained but there was little in the way of shade or seating. It should perhaps be made clearer that it is shared with at least three other properties so could become crowded. The garages were not large enough to accommodate larger vehicles and lock the doors.

The property is well laid out and has some fabulous views, particularly from the upstairs bedroom windows. Well equipped although a few essentials such as toilet paper in each bathroom would have been nice. The host provided detailed pictures to find the property which made a tricky location a bit easier to find. The wifi was very hit and miss. The bins were impossible to find despite the threat of extra charges for failing to empty the rubbish. Overall a lovely stay but let down by a couple of small things that had an impact on everyday use of the property.
