This villa was lovely with beautiful views. We had an issue with the oven which count be fixed until the following day. The dishwasher didn’t work at all. Definitely do a shop before you get there as there is nothing nearby, Overall, a nice place with a beautiful setting.

Great house with a great view. Would definitely recommend. The only thing we would do differently next time is rent a car. It was difficult to get around without one.

If you have the stomach and vehicle for a small, windy and steep climb to the top of Menaggio, this is a wonderful choice. Each bedroom had a well-kept bath (good water pressure). The view is incredible and we enjoyed the amenities. Only comment, is they do not stock it with alot of extras so be sure to bring coffee, laundry detergent etc.

Beautiful property, comes as advertised. Stunning views of the lake with central Menaggio only 7 minute drive away. There is also a walking path down to town center. Amazing communication by management - always prompt and responsive. We needed a new set of knives and pasta fork and management brought it the next day. The pool got dirty after two days of heavy rains and they cleaned it the next day. Would definitely book another property with them! This place is a great value and located in a ideal part of the lake (central lake Como)

This was a great place with fantastic views of the lake. Plenty of space for our group of 6. Very good outdoor space and an easy drive into Menaggio. You have a great view of Varenna and also Belaggio from the unit. Comfortable rooms and good kitchen space.

Stunning villa in the heart of Menaggio village. Located on a hill which overlooks beautiful and colorful nature of lake Como. Once you see that view from the villa’s balcony or terrace, - you will forever fall in love with it. It’s so worth coming here. We have visited several places and villages in Como, and Menaggio is my absolute favorite. Big gratitude to the host and entire team being always so polite, responsive and professional. Would definitely come back here again!

September 2016 Our family spent the third week in September in this villa. Being up on a hill above the town, the panorama of the mountains and the lake is breathtaking! We enjoyed sitting in the yard mostly in the mornings because we spent most of the days touring around the lake. But we made a point of going back to the villa one afternoon to enjoy lunch and the views. The breeze and sun were perfect! The villa is elegant and tastefully appointed with plenty of sleeping space upstairs and downstairs. We used the different appliances in the kitchen, and the washer and dryer. We ate at various restaurants in town and around the lake but the the one place we went back to was CO.RI, which is just few minutes down the hill from the villa. It's family owned and the food, pizza and standard fair, was delicious. We all agreed that the best gelato was at Gelateria Edo in the town square. Apart from taking the ferry or the bus to get around the lake, we rented a boat for a private tour to take a closer look at famous homes on the lakefront. Comfortable walking shoes are a must to enjoy the sightseeing and shopping. The weather during that week was still warm during the day, enough to wear a t-shirt and shorts, however, we needed light jackets when we went out early or returned late in the day. Spectacular views. Beautiful place and back patio. Make sure you pay attention to what is provided. No dish towles, soap for the kitchen. No trash bags. Only 2 sets of towels/hand towels for each bedroom. Trash bins are no where near the villa. You have to carry trash well down the hill. Biggest thing -- if you do not have a vehicle, UBER's and taxi's are not available. You can rent scooters/venpas and private drivers. Again, if you do not have

We zijn zeer tevreden over ons verblijf! We hebben genoten van elkaar en van het prachtige uitzicht. Toch zijn er een aantal punten welke onderhoud nodig hebben, waardoor het verblijf nog beter kan worden. Dit hebben we doorgegeven. De communicatie was vriendelijk en er werd snel gereageerd. The view is spectacular and the 2 bedrooms upstairs with ensuite bath were great. Each bedroom had access to the same balcony. In the main living area, you could enjoy the same view from inside and from the terrace area. My pet peeve with this place was that they didn't provide basic essentials like dish soap, dish detergent, dishwasher detergent, kitchen rags, paper towels, coffee, salt or pepper. I think the Airbnb is amazing!!! However, those items should be provided for all guests.... not in extreme quantities but just enough to get you by during your stay

Stunning views of Lake Como. Quiet location. Lovely to have pool and outdoor area. Clean accomodation suitable for 6 people although small kitchen with limited worktop space. Good restaurants within walking distance. Need to have car to get to Menaggio and back (steep hill). Difficulty with entry (no key initially in keybox and lock not working) but Lake Como Holidays helpful.

It had lovely views. The unit furniture need to be update/cleaned. Kitchen was lacking some oven racks, only 2 lounge chairs at pool. Had a great time with great friends.

The location in Menaggio was perfect. The villa had one bedroom in lower level which was dark and musty. We discussed with George, the couches need cleaning and the oven had no racks, which made it difficult to cook at times. I also recommended more lounge chairs by the pool. The staff was helpful and assisted us where they could.

Vi hadde et fantastisk opphold i denne leiligheten. Nydelig sted ved Comosjøen med høy standard. Fantastisk utsikt. God plass til 6 personer. Et stykke fra sentrum i Menaggio, så passer bra å kjøre egen bil for å komme seg rundt. Svært god standard på de 2 soverommene i øverste etasje, litt dårligere standard på soverommet i kjelleren (fuktig og luktet litt stramt).

Fantastic visit. Came down with a friend for a week to visit the area. Very convenient from the airport, great access to Lake Como and Milan. The villa itself had a fantastic view of the lake, one can describe it as breathtaking. The local restaurants were very good and the managing company was incredibly helpful with providing us with information about the local area and restaurants. Very impressed and would definitely come back.

This is the best way for me to describe staying at Le Petit Palais Villa -- This was the best vacation ever for my wife and me and a large part of that was due to staying in this villa with its breathtaking views of Lake Como. During our two week visit, we toured many of the beautiful cities and towns on the lake but at the end of the day, we were very happy that we selected Menaggio and the villa as our home base. It was a great place to come back to after long and short day-trips to surrounding cities and venues where we enjoyed walking through some of the finest gardens we have ever viewed. We ate at most of the restaurants in Menaggio and enjoyed the hospitality and ambiance of all of them. This was an experience that we may never match in our life times. Our trip to the lake region was made even more enjoyable when dealing with your friendly and very helpful staff. We interacted mostly with George, Danilo, and the young woman (behind the counter) whose name unfortunately escapes me. They were always accommodating to us and we especially valued their tips on where to dine, what to see, and how to get around. I am so glad that we picked this villa and the city of Menaggio for our one-of-a-kind vacation.

We had a great stay at Le Petit Palais. It met our expectations and was spacious and clean. The view was beautiful! The office staff was great - especially Manuela. (I think that was her name, young, blond, vivacious, and very friendly) Also, Lydia was very, very helpful throughout the booking process. We also appreciated all the emails we received prior to our arrival. We would have liked a few menus or restaurant suggestions, as well as a ferry schedule. Although we didn't need it, emergency numbers would have been good to have...just in case. And in English as well as Italian. Our stay was very enjoyable, and we would definitely recommend this villa.

The villa looked like the photos and is in a nice location in Menaggio however there were a lot of spiderwebs everywhere especially on the outdoor furniture and dead bugs in multiple bathrooms. The pool was dirty and the pump was not on, despite it being summer time. There is also no air conditioning in the living room but opening the windows will let in a lot of insects. There is a standing fan, but the swing on that is broken too.
