Der offen gestaltete Wohnbereich versammelt alle um ein tiefes Ecksofa und einen langen Esstisch; ein Kamin und ein Holzofen machen die kühleren Monate zu einem besonderen Vergnügen, während eine vollwertige Klimaanlage die Sommermonate angenehm kühlt.
Der größte Luxus hier ist die Privatsphäre inmitten des Zusammenseins. Jedes Schlafzimmer fungiert als eigene Studio-Suite mit einem Doppelbett, einer Kochnische und jeweils einem eigenen Bad, sodass drei Paare oder Familienzweige ihren eigenen Rhythmus beibehalten und sich dennoch zum Abendessen treffen können. Die Hauptküche sorgt mühelos für einen reibungslosen Ablauf am Abend (Geschirrspüler, Kaffeemaschine, amerikanischer Kühl-Gefrierschrank), und wenn das Familienturnier ruft, werden bei Tischtennis, Tischfußball, Darts und auf dem Kinderspielplatz die Rechnungen zwischen den Generationen beglichen. Burgen, Thermalbäder und die Reize eines Tagesausflugs nach Zagreb warten in den Hügeln dahinter, doch die Wahrheit über dieses Haus ist, dass niemand es eilig haben wird, es wieder zu verlassen.

Lage
Dieses Ferienhaus liegt auf dem Land in Gornja Stubica, im Hrvatsko Zagorje, einer märchenhaften Region mit grünen Hügeln, Weinbergen und Burgen nördlich von Zagreb. Im Dorf befinden sich das Schloss Oršić und das Museum der Bauernaufstände, eine der bedeutendsten Sehenswürdigkeiten der Region, während die Thermalbäder von Stubičke Toplice, die bei Einheimischen wegen ihrer warmen Mineralbecken sehr beliebt sind, nur eine kurze Autofahrt entfernt liegen. Auch die große Wallfahrtsbasilika von Marija Bistrica, Kroatiens wichtigster Marienwallfahrtsort, lässt sich bequem von hier aus besuchen.
Naturliebhaber haben die Wanderwege des Naturparks Medvednica in unmittelbarer Nähe, mit Wander- und Radwegen, die sich durch die Hügel zwischen Zagorje und Zagreb schlängeln, und ein Supermarkt befindet sich nur wenige Autominuten entfernt im Dorf. Zagreb selbst ist nah genug für einen spontanen Tagesausflug zu den Museen, Märkten und Café-Plätzen der Hauptstadt. Der nächstgelegene internationale Flughafen ist der Franjo-Tuđman-Flughafen in Zagreb, etwa 45 Autominuten von diesem Ferienhaus in Gornja Stubica entfernt.

This is an absolutely charming place, set in a beautiful area – the kind of place you simply don’t want to leave. The house is spacious, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by a perfectly kept garden. We stayed here as two families and had more than enough space for everyone, as well as plenty of places to relax and enjoy some privacy. The lower level of the house is dedicated to entertainment and relaxation. There is table tennis, darts, fitness equipment, a laundry area, a sauna with a shower, and a jacuzzi where you can even watch TV while relaxing. On the ground floor, there is a large living room opening onto an enormous terrace with a dining table, smaller tables and comfortable outdoor furniture. There is also a dining area and a very well-equipped kitchen. It has practically everything you could possibly need: a filter coffee machine, a capsule coffee machine, a slicer, air fryer, mixer, pots and pans, plates, mugs, glasses, wine glasses, serving dishes and much more. It is difficult to imagine what else could possibly be needed! Upstairs, there are three separate suites. Each one has its own bedroom, a separate sitting area with a sofa, a small kitchenette, bathroom and dressing area. The rooms are prepared with fresh bed linen, sets of towels and bathrobes. Fresh towels are also provided by the jacuzzi and sauna. The attention to detail is exceptional. Each bathroom has basic toiletries as well as toothbrushes, toothpaste, shower caps, sanitary pads, tampons, small bags, plenty of toilet paper and a hairdryer. It really feels as though everything you might need has been thought of. Next to the villa, there is a small traditional cottage rented by other guests, as well as a beautiful barbecue house with a fridge stocked with drinks and everything needed to prepare and enjoy a meal. The views are wonderful. From the terrace and balconies you can look out over the beautifully maintained garden with its fountains, the surrounding greenery and the mountains in the distance. The same view can be enjoyed while swimming in the pool, making it a perfect place to switch off and completely relax. But as wonderful as the house is, the most important part of our stay was the people. Lidija, the owner, is an incredibly warm and lovely person. She welcomed us with a smile, showed us around the house and later that evening surprised us with a homemade cake. Fresh vegetables from her garden were waiting for us in the fridge. Throughout our stay, Lidija was always helpful and genuinely wanted us to feel welcome and enjoy our holiday, while at the same time giving us complete privacy and never being intrusive. On the day we left, she gave us a small gift and another homemade cake. We could see that she was genuinely touched to say goodbye, which made our departure even more emotional. This is much more than just a beautiful villa. It is a place filled with warmth and hospitality, where you immediately feel welcome and where every little detail has been taken care of. A truly special place – and definitely somewhere we would love to return to. ❤️

Everything! The villa is beautiful, spacious, spotless and very well equipped. The pool, sauna and jacuzzi are wonderful, but for us the location made it even more special. The peace and quiet, the vineyards, the beautiful views and the sunsets were amazing. Lidija and Miro gave us such a warm welcome. During our stay we had most contact with Lidija, and her kindness and genuine hospitality made us feel at home from the very first moment. She was always there if we needed anything, while at the same time giving us complete privacy. You can really feel that she enjoys welcoming people and wants her guests to have a wonderful stay. We stayed here with two families and had more than enough space. It was the perfect ending to our holiday in Croatia and we left with very special memories.

Villa Aurelija is a truly special place. The villa is beautiful, spacious, spotless, and equipped with everything you need.
