The villa was perfect for a group. The outdoor space was private and beautiful. The pool was cleaned and ready to use. Nicola gave us a tour when we arrived and was very welcoming. The bathrooms are small/dated but it’s a historical house so that’s to be expected.

Amazing pool and outside space, location was perfect, plenty of space for the whole family, view of the lake. We had a great time and would go back, It would have been nice to have a few more toiletries, toilet rolls, cleaning cloths etc.

This house was lovely! Three huge floors of living space, large bedrooms with comfy beds, lots of lounge chairs outside near pool. House was as shown in pics or better. Artwork and fun things to look at in every room. A/c was also a nice touch. Easily walkable to the water and restaurants etc. Highly recommend!

An amazing villa. Very spacious with plenty of room for all of us. Has everything you need for a magnificent stay. We really enjoyed our whole week here. Beautiful furniture and decor and extremely comfortable. Manuela was very helpful and kind throughout our whole stay. I cannot recommend this villa enough! June 2017 Absolutely beautiful property in an ideal location for visiting Desenzano and surrounding cities. Close to train station, butcher, small grocery store, veggie/fruit stand all basically across the street and the town Center walkable in 5-10mins. The owner and her family were very nice and accommodating to our requests and were able to communicate well in english... especially during a power outage in the middle of the night! They are very available and gracious hosts, my family had a fantastic time as did we... the Pool was wonderful on hot days! Thank you again for a wonderful stay! Michelle, UK

We had a really good family holiday in Villa Barbara. It was expensive but probably the going rate fr sic a fantastic location. I was disappointed to be asked to pay €35 extra for a cot and high chair for my infant grandson. 2 showers for our group was enough but they are small, I’d suggest put in some small shelves to avoid the need to crouch down awkwardly to find soap or shampoo. Overall, we had a lovely time and Nicola was very helpful

House is in the perfect location for restaurants,lake side and shops. As other customers have said the showers need updating. Pool was a favorite with our family for cooling down. Over I would happily recommend this house for a great holiday.

The house is lovely, just like the pictures, we really enjoyed our stay. Manuela was very friendly and easy to communicate with. The pool is lovely and was cleaned regularly. Plenty of bowls and plates and pots and crockery, but no essentials like tea/coffee. Our only other feedback is that the property description listed shampoo and portable fans which were not provided. When we asked we were told that the description was wrong, shampoo is never provided, and that the portable fans had been removed when the aircon was installed. Unfortunately there is only air-con in the bedrooms. It was very hot downstairs. Portable fans would have been very nice. Otherwise perfect!

Really interesting house with nice gardens and pool. ideal for a large family with good communal spaces. the hosts husband met us and explained the property, he was the nicest person, very helpful. lots of passers by stop to look at the house as it is lovely. great location, in walking distance for everything. quiet area, 450m from train station. only constructive comments would be showers need upgrading, more mugs and duvets with washable covers preferable than bedspreads. it was a very attractive place to stay.

The house is lovely, just like the pictures, we really enjoyed our stay. Manuela was very friendly and easy to communicate with. The pool is lovely and was cleaned regularly. Plenty of bowls and plates and pots and crockery, but no essentials like tea/coffee. Our only other feedback is that the property description listed shampoo and portable fans which were not provided. When we asked we were told that the description was wrong, shampoo is never provided, and that the portable fans had been removed when the aircon was installed. Unfortunately there is only air-con in the bedrooms. It was very hot downstairs. Portable fans would have been very nice. Otherwise perfect!

Really interesting house with nice gardens and pool. ideal for a large family with good communal spaces. the hosts husband met us and explained the property, he was the nicest person, very helpful. lots of passers by stop to look at the house as it is lovely. great location, in walking distance for everything. quiet area, 450m from train station. only constructive comments would be showers need upgrading, more mugs and duvets with washable covers preferable than bedspreads. it was a very attractive place to stay.
