We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The location was perfect—close to everything yet quiet enough to relax. The views from the property were absolutely stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset. Yes, there are about 150 steps to reach the apartment, so be ready for a bit of a climb, but it is completely worth it once you see the view and experience the peaceful setting above the city. The apartment itself was spotless and well maintained, with a kitchen that had everything we needed to cook meals during our stay. Everything worked perfectly, and it was clear the host took great care in making the space comfortable and functional. The host was very responsive, friendly, and helpful, offering great recommendations about the area. Overall, this was one of the best Airbnb stays we have had—clean, comfortable, quiet, and with unforgettable views. Just be prepared for the steps, and you will not be disappointed. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

My family of 4 including 2 adult children had a wonderful time styaing a Menaggio Royale apartment. Everything was as advertized - spacious, clean and very comfortable with a fantastic view of Lake Como. The property managers were exceptionial answering all of our mundane, tourist questions from check-in to departure. We would highly recommend this property if staying in Menaggio!

Perfect location. Just a short walk to the water front and one minute from the ferry. It was like a treasure hunt trying to find the building but each turn had a clearly marked “62” on it so we found it. The instructions for picking up the keys were very clear. The apartment was very big and beautiful. It had a great view of the lake from the living room and main bedroom. I would stay here again.

This place in Menaggio was perfect for my wife and I! It is a very well appointed flat with everything one would need for a trip. The views of the lake and the surrounding town is worth the price alone. It is an easy walk to the town center, and so close to the ferry as well. Thank you again!

Property was amazing views amazing house beautiful!! They did not disclose of how many stairs or steps going up to the property. That was my only dislike other than that. Everything was so amazing. Over 200 steps if you don’t mind the stats, it would be perfect

The place exceeded our expectations! It was clean, spacious for 6, and the view was phenomenal! I would caution, as others have, that there are quite a few stairs to get to the apartment, including some moss covered stones. Just need to be cautious and wear sneakers :) the sofa bed is in its own room and that too was very comfortable. The bathroom in the master is only separated from the bedroom by a half wall which is a little strange depending on your circumstances. The apartment is right across the street from the ferry which made easy access for day trips to other towns, and for the ferry back to Como for the train to the airport. We were super happy that we chose Menaggio. The place is beyond beautiful! Don’t hesitate!

Beautiful apartment clean modern and well equipped. Getting up the stairs to the apartment is it a challenge for anybody especially people with luggage should consider some kind of extra charge for assistance with luggage up to the apartment and luggage when leaving otherwise fantastic location can walk everywhere in Menaggio and beautiful view of the lake

Our stay at the Menaggio Royale was absolutely perfect. The view and location can’t be beat. It is a one minute walk to the ferry, a very short walk to the Menaggio city center and less than a 10 minute walk to a grocery store. We had a seamless check-in and check-out with the Lake Como Holiday office. Couldn’t recommend this place enough and definitely hope to be back.

The apartment is wonderful, with a breathtaking view—you can even see the ferry line from the window, which makes it easy to plan your outings. The decor is beautiful, the bathrooms are spacious, and the bedrooms are clean and comfortable.

Beautiful and spacious, recently remodeled. Several flights of stairs to get to the unit but it was worth it. Breathtaking views of the lake and Menaggio city. The one drawback was the bottom unit was being remodeled and we were awakened to workers at 7am.

We were very much pleased with our experience. The property, the location, the customer service at the Holiday Home office receive high marks. We enjoyed our stay in Menaggio and visiting all the neighboring towns (Varenna, Bellagio, Tremezzo). Even though it rained during our entire stay we were still able to have a great experience.
