A great flat in Argentiere. On the main road through the village, opposite the best boulangerie, and close to the railway station. You get given a card which entitles you to free train travel throughout the valley, which we used daily. We bought the 6 day Mont Blanc Multipass and certainly made use of it and enjoyed the most incredible experiences and views.

Great, bigger than we thought. Sleeps 4 comfortably, 6 possible. Massive balcony. It's rented through an agency not an individual but that didn't remove from the stay. Would have liked a few more things to clean with so we could have left it as we found it. Dish washer stuff, washing up liquid and loo roll mostly, just makes it easier to abide by the check out rules.

First, we had excellent support and advice from the local Happy Rentals team, for which we were grateful. Edelweiss #4 is a pleasant comfortable spacious apartment in an excellent location for skiing. It’s an easy walk to the Grand Montet lift, and very handy for the Alpain bakery. It was warm, with a good supply of hot water for the bath, and plenty of towels. The bed was comfortable and there were spare quilts for a cold night. The Wi-Fi worked quite well. Downstairs in the cellar was a small lockable storage area which I used for skis and boots. We enjoyed our stay there, and the following points are mostly minor comments, based on many years of experience in other rental properties: 1. On arrival we found that the tiled flooring was clean, but the carpets were less so, and looked as if they had not been regularly cleaned. The Dyson vacuum cleaner did not work, and was quickly replaced by the HR team when we reported it. 2. There was a lack of cleaning materials for the kitchen. It would have been helpful to have more washing-up liquid ( only a tiny bottle was provided), more dishwasher tablets (one provided), and a supply of paper towels ( none provided) 3. The plastic bowl in the kitchen should be replaced. 4. There should be a supply of clean tea towels for drying crockery (only one supplied). As I said earlier, despite this list, we did have a cosy and enjoyable time at the apartment, and would consider staying again. Steve and Jacqueline Smith

The views from the apartment are in a word - breathtaking! The apartment itself is nice and cozy with all the requirements of a home. Plus with the absolutely amazing bakery bang opposite the apartment is the 'cherry on top'

Els llits són prou còmodes, la terrassa és molt agradable, la sala acollidora i la cuina també bé. La ubicació es bona, davant d'un forn/cafeteria molt bo. Les indicacions de check-in i ckeck-out són molt completes. La banyera/dutxa està molt bé.

emplacement parfait , a proximité de petits commerces, boulangerie, restaurant. a 15 min en voiture de Chamonix. logement calme. manque de propreté par contre avec énormément de poussières sur les meubles , de toiles d'araignée,... peut être étions nous les premières réservations de la saison ...

Logement de bonne taille mais qui mériterait d'être rénové. Tapis sous la table de salle à manger qui doit avoir 20 ans et qui n'était pas propre. moisissures dans la salle de bain, ainsi que le rideau de fenêtre de la baignoire très sale. hôte de ventilation qui dégouline de graisse. fenêtres simple vitrage. chaise de terrasse cassée. A notre arrivée forte odeur de désinfectant, nous avons dû aérer longuement l'appartement. emplacement en bordure de route, magasins à 500m. jolie vue sur le Mont Blanc depuis la terrasse. Pas de sel et poivre, ni huile comme mentionné dans l'annonce. Un seul rouleau de papier toilette, pour 2 nuits pour 6 personnes ! Logement géré par une agence, indications de prise en charge des clés erronnées, et email d'information en anglais.

Apt as described, fully functional kitchen, good hot water, superb views and very convenient location, so the considerable price is not unreasonable. Owner vanished with email discontinued before we arrived. Instructions sent us to local "Happy Rentals" agency, which was helpful when available but more than once during announced hours, office closed and no answer by phone.
