An incredible place to stay with an incredible view that should be worth a lot more than it is. Great proximity to the local town for food and visiting the beach. Had an incredible stay and might be back again!

Un appartement spacieux et fonctionnel avec une superbe vue. Malgré le temps mitigé nous avons pu profiter du cadre et du décor du lac majeur. Stresa est à 10min à pieds avec une petite montée au retour qui permets d’éliminer les pizzas. L’emplacement est parfait, au calme et suffisamment proche de la ville. Petit bémol : le lit qui n’est vraiment pas confortable.

Notre séjour était parfait ! La vue sur le lac est magnifique et passer du temps sur la terrasse nous a vraiment permis de nous sentir en vacances ! Le parking sur la route en face de l'appartement est pratique, toutefois, une fois la voiture parquée, il est préférable de ne plus la bouger car pendant les beaux jours de week-end, les places sont vite occupées. La route est très fréquentée, ce qui nous a un peu inquiétés pour descendre avec les enfants, mais finalement, nous avons pu rejoindre le centre-ville par de nombreuses petites rues et escaliers, ce qui était assez sécurisé et très rapide. Merci beaucoup pour ce séjour !

The main attraction of this apartment was the view from the balcony and the images don't do it justice - it's even more impressive in real life! The apartment was well equipped and spacious, and could easily accommodate a family. The town center and supermarkets are within walking distance, and there are pedestrian paths.

We liked being away from the crowds in town in this spacious apartment with a large balcony. We didn't have a car for much of the trip, and the walk into and out of town was great exercise, and a good excuse for a large meal later. There isn't a welcome/intro book, so any questions have to go directly to the management company. I prefer having a lot of basic questions answered in a few pages left in the apartment. A few tips for future guests. There is a private parking space in the garage, but it is small and difficult to get into unless you have a very small car. The management company doesn't even tell you about the garage (but it's mentioned in the written material they send electronically) since the few spaces of street parking just up the hill and across the street are much easier to use if you can get one. Although we never had to use the garage, it was nice to know that we could if the street parking was not available. The wifi modem is on the table by the sofa. The password is on the modem. Only 4 connections are allowed at a time. Some of the dishes are in the kitchen cabinets, but a lot are also in the buffet/cabinet in the living/dining room. It took us awhile to think to look there. There are 2 ways to walk down into town which bypass most of the streets. It's a bit difficult to describe - our taxi driver pointed one out to us. We found the other by poring over google maps. The management company might be able to help.

Nice apartment in a lovely area with a great view and nearby the restaurants and shops of Stresa. We enjoyed this place very much!

The view from the balcony is cooling to the soul. The apartment is furnished but lacking in basic amenities like salt, pepper, sugar, sufficient bath tissues, etc in the kitchen and bathrooms. So come prepared! The distance from the lake and city center is a “good” walk or 15 euro taxi ride each way. If you have your own ride then it is super convenient. No matter what, it still is worth the view. Highly recommend and will return to stay here for a longer period next time.

The location and the view from the terrace are great. The master bed was very comfortable. Our contact via telephone and WhatsApp was great. Very nice person and very helpful.

Great location and amazing view. Inside was clean and tidy however there were a few issues and things that didn’t work well. Firstly the wifi wasn’t great and kept losing connection throughout our stay. Additionally, the main bathroom light didn’t work, and the shower head wall attachment was broken, as was one of the shutters out onto the balcony. Overall a decent Airbnb for the price considering location and views, however some maintenance is needed. Also some more could be provided in terms of info packs/how to connect to wifi, and some more kitchen essentials such as coffee, salt and pepper

Great views of Lake Maggiore from the large covered terrace. Apartment was clean but needs some updating - smaller bedroom with trundle was not optimal for adults. Short but steep walk down to Stresa city center (5-10 minutes). Good communication with hosts and easy check-in. Apartment is on a very busy street, but allows for easy access down to town or to autostrada.

If you’re renting this property it’s for the view, it’s breathtaking and probably better than even the nicest hotels on the lake. Walking into town didn’t seem very easy, so we drove into town each day and parked, which worked out fine. When we were there it was very hot and muggy. The apartment doesn’t have A/C and there was only 1 fan. A second fan would have made a big difference. We were trying to share one fan between two bedrooms, wasn’t great. But the View makes up for that.

Firstly this apartment is all about the view from the terrace. It is magnificent and probably the best I have had from a holiday accommodation. Worth the lung busting walk back from the town to sit on (it’s high up on a busy winding road but there are a couple of shortcut options down steps). Off street parking exists in a basement garage but the access is tricky for all but a small car. Replies to messages were prompt however there is no pack with essential information/activity tips just a few tourist leaflets and no wifi info; it was unplugged on our arrival. The flat itself needs upgrading. The bathroom is particularly old and we had a blockage problem which could not be rectified during our stay. The main bed’s mattress sagged and had no cover which wasn’t pleasant. The flat however is spacious, well equipped and could be a really nice place to stay with some much needed investment. Currently it trades far too much on its terrace view. However Stresa itself is a great destination.

Appartement plutôt spacieux mais au confort sommaire, qui mériterait bien une petite rénovation. La literie n'est pas bonne du tout, l'eau chaude met énormément de temps à venir, l'abattant des WC était bancal, et l'appartement dans son ensemble bénéficierait fortement d'un rafraîchissement. Néanmoins nous avons passé un super séjour dans cette région, et la magnifique vue de l'appartement et sa localisation sont un très grand avantage, ainsi que sa terrasse (mais dont nous n'avons pas profité car trop frais en cette période).
