A warm welcome from Daniella to her lovely property just outside the atmospheric village of Castiglione del Lago (not a swimming lake). Well maintained with everything we needed (dishcloth, washing up liquid, tea towel, shower gel provided plus starter bin liners & loo roll which is so helpful. Communal washing machine too-bonus!) A lovely pool with classic Umbrian views. Supermarkets are a short drive away in town. You definitely need a car, and if you’re prepared to drive a 1-2 hrs it is a great base to visit the surrounding area in Tuscany & Umbria (Sienna, Bagnoregio, Orvieto, Pienza, Montepulciano are just a few) as well as relaxing in the peaceful gardens. It was a great holiday with a bit of everything. Don’t forget to pack your mozzy repellant! Ciao!

Bella struttura immersa nella campagna al tempo stesso vicina alla città di Castiglione del lago e di tante altre piccole cittadine. Bella la piscina e ottima la colazione!

De locatie is mooi gelegen op de berg met mooi uitzicht, op het hoogste punt ligt het zwembad voor een lekkere verkoelende duik. In de kleine receptie is lokale wijn, olie en pasta te koop. Je moet er wel rekening mee houden dat je altijd een auto nodig heb om ergens heen te gaan. Maar er zitten genoeg supermarkten, restaurants en bezienswaardigheden de buurt.
