We enjoyed our stay in the beautiful Zebbiegh area. The house was comfortable and very unique, and the neighbors were friendly. We were able to walk to markets and restaurants in Zebbiegh. Our dog enjoyed the fenced front yard and we all enjoyed the quiet surroundings after coming from the city to escape the festa fireworks.

The cave was really nice and secluded. You definitely need a car to get around! Hot tub was a major perk to the place and with the fire at night it was lovely. Only a 10 minute drive from local Maltese restaurants and Dominic and Elizabeth (hosts) were so friendly. Towards the end of our stay I was a little sneezy from the dust in the cave but that is kind of inevitable. I would say just bring some allergy tablets if you’re prone to dust allergies. Definitely a good experience for us :)

Just as described, the cave is located nearby Mgarr and other small towns, where you can find a lot of restaurants and beaches. The cave has perfectly working air conditioning and the Jacuzzi and fire pit really let the place stand out. 2 minor things to consider: The Wifi only works in certains spaces and is spotty - but you’re in a cave anyway. Also, you should not have problems with seeing a few bugs, aka snails etc. Other than that, Dominics quick responses really helped to get everything we needed. Thanks Dominic!

Un.posto.davvero speciale La casa è realmente in una grotta ma è molto ampia ,non mancano i confort e alcuni ambienti sia esterni che interni accoglienti e davvero godibili.Ovviamente ..ci sono insetti...mosche ..ma a casa mia molte di più.. zanzare..ma basta usare i giusti accorgimenti...umido..si... ma ovviamente sei in una grotta..ma..quando la lascerete vi mancherà.!!!!Dimenticavo la natura attorno ...comprese le caprette e il galletto del vicino..bella esperienza. e la disponibilità di un Host indispensabile come Dominic!

This is such a unique property. When will you ever get to stay in actual cave? It was close to town so we were able to get groceries and necessities like paper towels and water. The restaurants nearby were all wonderful. One shower didn’t work but that was fine - there were only 3 of us and we managed without two showers. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. The upstairs terrace is lovely. We didn’t use the hot tub but wanted to. I highly recommend this experience. One caveat… my son was allergic to the dust in the cave but with allergy medication he did fine ( there’s was no way he was going to leave the cave. WiFi is spotty but that was true in Malta in general. I would stay again. Dominic stayed late to great use which was so kind. We didn’t know that our ferry from Sicily would be so late. It was good that he met us there or it would have been hard to find in the dark.

Ein schöner romantischer Ort zur Erholung, mit einer guten Ausstattung (Gasgrill, -Feuerstelle, kommunikativer Küche, Hot-Tub, 2 Terrassen, viel Platz, Klimaanlage und und und …). Dominic ist ein freundlicher hervorragender Partner in Sachen Kommunikation, Tips, Organisation. Es gibt einen eigenen Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür für das hilfreiche Auto.

I stayed for 5 nights in the apartment. It’s quite unique, not sure if I will ever live in a cave again. 😀 The host Dominic was very friendly, communicative, and always answered my questions promptly. He explained everything in the apartment, especially the ventilation system, the barbecue and the whirlpool. I felt very welcome. You need a car if you want to stay there because it’s a bit outside of the town. If you have a light sleep better bring some earplugs, otherwise the chicken nearby might disturb you 4am. 😀 For me it was no problem. I would recommend the cave to people who are looking for something special. It’s also perfect for going to the sand beaches in northern part of Malta or to Gozo.

This place is a secret gem and excellent quality for the price. Really peaceful, lots of nature but also close to lots of great Maltese landmarks, resturants etc. The hot tub, gass fire and rooftop terrace were a dream. Sitting out there staring up at the nights sky with all the stars because of the low light pollution will go down as one of the better memories of the trip. Would highly recommend.

Lovely place to stay if you are looking for something remote and relaxing. Best accessibility if you rent a car. Beautiful views and interesting interior. Could do with better cleaning service (big spiderwebs and reptile sheds hanging off the ceilings) and more tableware (missing teaspoons and mugs, only plastic wine glasses).

Quiet location, pleasant terrace (albeit adjacent to a neighbouring terrace/ flat which was fortunately vacant during our stay). Dominic, the host, is pleasant and friendly.
