Infiorata di Noto 2026
Blog publicado: April, 25 2023 (Actualizado el: February, 09 2026)Lose yourself in a fair of flowers at the Noto Flower Festival!
Every year, the third Sunday in May is dedicated to the Infiorata di Noto, a festival that transforms the historic streets of Noto, Sicily, into a vibrant tapestry of flowers. Artists meticulously craft intricate floral mosaics using millions of flower petals, covering the streets with stunning designs that celebrate religion, mythology, art, and local folklore.

The festival's centrepiece is a spectacular 122-metre-long and 7-metre-wide flower carpet, covering approximately 700 square metres. This breathtaking masterpiece is created with 400,000 flowers, including carnations, gerberas, daisies, tufts of fennel and euphorbia, valerian flowers, artemisia, myrtle, and other natural materials sourced from the surrounding countryside.
