Experience the toughest yet one of the most scenic biking routes in Italy!

Gear up for the Alta Valtellina Bike Marathon 2025, taking place on 26th July in the breathtaking Stelvio National Park. This high-altitude mountain biking challenge offers something for everyone, from seasoned pros to passionate amateurs. Riders can choose from three thrilling categories: Marathon (100 km), Endurance (76 km), and Classic (44 km)—each designed with varying levels of difficulty and elevation gain. Expect 90% dirt roads, exciting single-track trails, and sweeping alpine views as you ride through Valdidentro, Livigno, and Valdisotto.

The event starts and ends in Rasin, Valdidentro, where a lively Bike Village awaits with race services, entertainment, and a festive atmosphere for riders and spectators alike.

A Little Sneak Peek of the Programme – 2025 Edition

MARATHON – Starts at 7:30 AM

100 km with 3,260 m of elevation gain – starts will be staggered based on the number of participants.

ENDURANCE – Starts at 9:30 AM

76 km with 2,400 m of elevation gain – starts will be staggered based on the number of participants.

CLASSIC – Starts at 11:30 AM

44 km with 1,485 m of elevation gain – starts will be staggered based on the number of participants.

On Sunday, July 27, the excitement continues with the Marathon Kids race, designed for young cyclists aged 4 to 12. Kids will ride in age-based categories on safe, scenic circuits, with mandatory helmet use and plenty of fun guaranteed!

The Bike Village in Rasin will once again be the event’s social hub, featuring race pack pickup, a pasta party, sponsor stalls, and more.
