About the Area
Perched at an elevation of 2,035 meters, Sestriere is one of Italy’s premier ski resorts and a key part of the Vialattea (Milky Way) ski area, which boasts over 400 km of interconnected slopes spanning Italy and France. The resort was founded in the 1930s by Giovanni Agnelli, the founder of FIAT, as a luxury alpine destination.
