La playa principal, Spiaggia di Torre Vado, está a 6 minutos a pie y hay un pequeño puerto deportivo donde los visitantes pueden alquilar un barco (a 7 minutos a pie). También hay varios restaurantes y tiendas de comestibles a 5 minutos a pie. Entre las excursiones más populares que se pueden hacer en las cercanías se encuentran la bella ciudad barroca de Lecce, conocida como la "Florencia del Sur", y la pintoresca ciudad de Otranto, conocida por sus playas, su encantador casco antiguo, su castillo medieval y su catedral bizantina, ambas a 55 minutos en coche. El aeropuerto internacional más cercano es el de Brindisi-Salento (BDS), a una hora y media en coche del alojamiento.

Die Lage war super, nicht so weit von Meer. Das Haus hatte alles was man zum Kochen braucht. Es war sehr schön dort. Man sich draußen duschen und dann ins Haus sauber kommen. Man braucht dort unbedingt ein Auto.

The flat is really nice with a great sea view and is close to all amenities. We didn’t have a car, but there was parking space on the road just outside. The restaurant next door does parties over the weekend and can be a bit noisy, but in general the flat is in a very quiet area. The bed was comfortable. The two bedrooms have air conditioning, but we were given only one remote so couldn’t cool the other bedroom. There is no air conditioning in the living area. The flat has a cosy balcony at the front and a very large one at the back that gets the sun in the morning, ideal for drying towels, costumes etc... Sadly there is no washing machine. The bathroom mirror cabinet needs changing! We definitely recommend the place, but guests (especially if coming from abroad) need to be mindful that the provision of kitchen and bedroom laundry is very minimal, with no tea towel, tablecloth etc. However, we did ask for some extra, that were provided promptly. Communication was very good and the check-in/out very easy.
