I would argue that location is the single most important aspect of any lodging. In which case this one can NOT be beat. It literally is across the road from the local Chamonix SNCF train. I think there is a bus stop right outside but we found the train served all our needs. The rooms are very nice and feature a nice balcony, rooms include a sauna (only draw back is in room sauna seems counterproductive in summer when having hot days), pool in building is nice, on site below ground parking with no hitches, office with property managers is about 1/4 mile away and we only ever needed them to get our local travel card for using the train....of note, highly recommend the bakery right next door as my preferred morning walk to obtain my fresh croissants each day for breakfast. Also good trail access right out the door. personally, I would stay in Argentierre when visiting the chamonix area as has lots of resources, market, restaurants, gelateria, but avoids the potential business of Chamonix. And best part, literally you can get on to the lower balcony sud trails right in front of building. I would stay here again.

Logement fonctionnel avec une place de parking, un emplacement idéal, face à la gare pour se déplacer à Chamonix. Une vue magnifique sur la montagne. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour !

The location of the apartment was excellent, with the ski bus right outside. Ski shop opposite and store in apartment for equipment. The apartment was compact for 4 but this was ok as we were out 8am to 5pm daily skiing. Le Tour resort perfect for beginners to advanced skiers. Only snag, no WiFi and limited coverage with personal data usage, with 2 teenagers, this was not ideal.

L\'hôtel est super agréable calme et très bien placé. L\'appartement offre une très belle vue. Balcon suffisamment grand pour pouvoir manger et étendre du linge. On avait peur que ce soit bruyant car il est situé au coeur de la ville et en face de la gare., mais pas du tout, aucune nuisance ! On a apprécié le sauna dans la salle de bains ! La piscine est top et offre une vue sur la montagne ! Il y a aussi un salon avec des livres à disposition et un billard. Nous conseillons le restaurant juste à côté , mais les autres testés à Argentières étaient top aussi. La région propose un pass à aller chercher à l\'agence qui permet la gratuité du train , nous n\'avons jamais pris la voiture pour aller randonner, parcours en train confortable et agréable visuellement !Nous avons apprécié le parking souterrain inclus.

We really enjoyed our weekend in Chamonix! The property was nice, had a beautiful view of the mountains, and comfortably slept 4 people. The in-unit sauna was another plus! However, it was located about a 20 minute train ride outside of downtown Chamonix and did not have wifi.

We received instructions via email how to get in the building, there is no-one at the reception, so you get an entrance code and find your key to the apartment in a lockbox. The building used to be a hotel, but now it seems to be privately owned apartments and the general areas are not being maintained/manned anymore. Apartment styles are very different. our friends had a nice unit, with new bathroom and kitchen. Ours was very dated and equipped with only the most basic items.
