Peaceful village right on the shore of Lake Como. Easy access to the bus. Great restaurant just steps away. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool after a long day of exploring the area!

Absolutely loved this place!! Seven of us came for a wedding in Laglio and this was the perfect space for our group. Neighborhood was quiet and a bit far from town but taking the bus was straight forward. Great restaurant directly underneath the place. Cannot recommend this place enough!!

What a fabulous apartment and those lake views from one’s living area and balcony are simply gorgeous! Multiple fantastic restaurants within walking distance. We loved the pool as well! You won’t regret booking this apartment as we had a wonderful time!

The location was beautiful - steps away from the lake with an access ramp right in front of the Airbnb. It was not super easy to get around the lake, so best to rent a car. It was HOT when we went and there is no AC. The booking group was a little difficult to get a hold of, but overall everything was good.

Nice apartment. Correct information you are sending about partaking places, Osteria has 4 private spots - not 3. For future air conditioning would be nice, at least for kitchen room.

This is a nice apartment in a good location with great views over the lake. We chose to stay in this area for a nearby wedding, but it was easy to drive into Como. The apartment was about the right size for our party of 5 adults/2 toddlers and was equipped with everything we needed. The agents were very responsive to any requests.

It’s a very nice place to stay if you enjoy the view of lake como, the entrance to swim and boat trip is just downstairs! It will be perfect if air conditions can be installed! It’s too hot at night to sleep!

The 4 bedroomed Apartment in the Villa was clean and tidy with modern facilities. It is centrally located on the Lakeside in Carate Urio which gives great views of Lake Como. We liked the Pool and the Terrace.

Have stayed in this apartment before, know the village very well. Happy with the lift and building was at lakeside level. Quite expensive for five days! . Would appreciate that access was easier, and glad that my son was with me at the time as your representative failed to turn up! Restaurant opposite great!

The best aspects of this property were the beautiful lake view, the quiet location, and the excellent communication from the hosts. The area is peaceful with very little traffic, making it a relaxing place to stay on Lake Como.Unfortunately, several issues impacted our experience. The most significant was the lack of air conditioning. As an American traveler, I did not realize this was something I needed to specifically verify, and it was not clearly highlighted in the property overview. During warmer weather, this made the apartment uncomfortable.The towels and bedding were also outdated and not comfortable. The linens and towels were rough. In addition, the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were provided in very small plastic pouches that were inconvenient to use and felt inconsistent with the price of the property.Another drawback was the lack of storage and counter space in the bathrooms. There was nowhere to set toiletry bags or personal items, and adding shelving or other storage solutions would make a big difference for guests.Prospective visitors should also know that Carate Urio is a very small village with limited restaurants, shopping, and activities. For more dining and entertainment options, you will likely need to take a taxi to nearby towns such as Moltrasio or Cernobbio.While we appreciated the view and the hosts' responsiveness, the lack of AC/ the overall comfort level make it difficult for us to recommend this property to other guests.

The house is in a beautiful location however the cleanliness of the floors was an issue and there was a distinct smell in the bathrooms. Also, there was limited toilet paper and no paper towels available. The key lock box was easy to find but difficult to open. The parking situation was not clear in the listing. There is a “paid” public parking area across the street with limited spots that we were able to park in for the duration of our stay. However, not sure how available the spots are normally/if we just got lucky with not paying for the 4 days that we were parked there. All in all, beautiful views and location for the value but could use a deep clean.

The location was amazing, just at the waterfront. The apartment was spacious and had a good layout. It was not the cleanest though. The floor was dirty and the bathroom had some stains on the wall. There were fans in every room which was very useful in the heat.
