The property was amazing! We got severely, severely lost trying to find the place, but that was because we were relying on google maps but didn’t have the right address for google maps, when we should have just followed the instructions you left us, so that was our own fault. Regarding activites etc., we went to Villa d’Este, and a few other restaurants but I can’t remember their names. Overall we had a fantastic time though, many thanks for everything!

es hat alles wunderbar geklappt, und wir hatten 4 wunderschöne Tage am Comer See. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der tollen Unterkunft: genug Platz für alle, eine super Aussicht auf den See und die schneebedeckten Berge bei strahlendem Sonnenschein und viele Möglichkeiten ums Haus herum ein sonniges Plätzchen zu finden. Auch unser 2 Jahre alter Enkel war richtig im Glück, direkt neben dem Haus konnte er auf der großen Terrasse und im angrenzenden Wald spielen. Mit ihrer Betreuung waren wir sehr zufrieden, alle unsere Fragen wurden im Vorfeld schnell beantwortet. Gerne kommen wir mal wieder!

Thanks for all arangement you did for us ,in order to enjoy the time we spent in the villa we rented. We spent a wonder full time and enjoy each moment. Your instructions how to reach the villa and the preperation of the faciliteas were perfect.

All details around our staying in this property was arranged flawlessly - it was easy to pick up the keys and to drop them upon our departure. It was relatively easy to find the villa too. The conditions in the villa were fine - heating and etc. We want to thank you once again for your assistance concerning cleaning of the road form the heavy snow.

Our stay at Villa Aquila was a definite highlight of our trip through Europe. The entire staff communicated very well with us and made the entire process very easy. The Villa was beautiful and in a very quiet location, our only wish was that we had more time to spend there. Thank You for the wonderful stay and we hope to have pictures to send soon. Your pre-pack information available online is great. Directions are really really clear - this is very comforting when driving in an unknown car on unknown roads - Property is in a stunning location - no doubt about it. And the pictures online maximise that. For me it was a little too remote since I would have preferred somewhere to walk to in the evening rather than driving everwhere..so more explanation on the website would be good. Property itself is nicely done, to a point. The bedrooms are all a good size but a little poorly equipped with the double downstairs lacking any wardrobe space and relying on a vigilent mop up after every shower..a little too much style over practicality I think..! The kitchen is small for the number of people - the welcome meeting is OK. Certainly if you can get a word in with Daniello then he is a font of knowledge. And I liked the weekly calendar to indicate what you could do on each day. Just cut it down a bit - people just want the headlines and are there with fidgety children. A drink would have been very welcome at the start too - just makes the whole thing a little "warmer" and less functional. All in all, lovely spot. We loved Bellagio - Villa Carlotta - just incredible - the most amazing gardens and enjoyed by ALL ages - Varenna mon amour restaurant (new - very nice) - The Lido in Menaggio - we lived there - very clean, fab pool and easy to jump into the lake as well and pretty good food from the cafe there as well. - Menaggio - great for hanging out - coffee, beers and ice cream - bit mixed for eating - Ristorante La Baia in Cremia - great for those staying up where we were.

Long weekend, two families with 4 children between 2-7. Pros Beautiful views Peaceful location Decent size bedrooms Cons Pool wasnt cleaned upon checkin Fridge had been switched off, not cold for food and drinks Property in generally a poor state - think we were the first in there in a while Oven kept tripping the power, so we couldnt use it Wifi code was wrong and took a few calls to get it working No chopping board for food preparation and generally poorly kitchen Cold tap not working in bathtub downstairs, nearly scalded a child If you arent fussy about the quality of furnishings or kitchen stuff, and generally tired state of the property, then for the price, this is an OK stay. I wouldn't come again with a family. Might be OK for walkers due to trail access.

Die Erwartungen unsererseits waren bei dem Preis dieses Domizils recht hoch. Leider wurden diese nicht erfüllt. Durch geschickt dargestellte Fotografien erschien manches anders als tatsächlich. Von der Sauberkeit waren wir enttäuscht und das bei der hohen Berechnung der Reinigungskosten. Ebenso wurden defekte Gegenstände nicht ausgetauscht und das bei einer weiteren Berechnung von Schäden, egal ob sie entstanden oder nicht. Ebenso wird in ihrer Beschreibung mit einem Parkplatz am Haus geworben ohne zu erwähnen dass erst 54 Stufen zu überwinden sind. Wir würden hier nicht mehr buchen
