Este acogedor refugio se distribuye en tres plantas y ofrece el lugar ideal para trabajar, relajarse o simplemente desconectar del ajetreo de la vida moderna. La casa, llena de encanto, se distribuye en tres plantas: en la planta baja hay un acogedor salón con televisión de pantalla plana y equipo de música, y en la segunda planta, un salón con vistas panorámicas, una gran biblioteca y una romántica chimenea. La casa cuenta además con un jardín privado con amplias vistas a la montaña y una zona de descanso al aire libre, así como una cocina totalmente equipada con lavavajillas y cafetera. Cada habitación tiene un radiador independiente y también hay una estufa tradicional en la casa con leña para calentar la estufa y la chimenea. Para aquellos que quieran trabajar a distancia, la casa ofrece un espacio de trabajo apto para el uso de un ordenador portátil y una ubicación tranquila en la ladera de una colina. Para seguir explorando, los huéspedes pueden visitar la emocionante ciudad de Lugano, con una gran variedad de experiencias aptas para todas las edades; el pueblo más bonito de Suiza, Morcote; el fascinante SwissMiniatur y mucho más; todo ello situado a menos de 30 minutos en coche. Wir haben uns in dem wunderschönen Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war genau das, was wir gesucht haben: Ruhe in einer schönen und heimeligen Umgebung. Das Haus ist sehr praktisch eingerichtet und hat trotzdem einen unwiderstehlichen Charme. Entgegen der Beschreibung auf AirBnB gibt es neben den 2 Holzöfen Elektro-Heizungen in jedem Zimmer. So konnten wir es auch im Winter behaglich warm haben. Am besten gefallen hat uns das Panorama-Fenster im obersten Stock. Da lassen sich stundenlang die Berge und die Farben des Himmels angucken. Ein wunderschöner Ort! Gerne wieder!

Nice house in the quite village of Aranno. Free parking is a 2 min walk away. We enjoyed chilling in the spacious garden in the evening. The two Queen beds are a bit small but can still accommodate 4 people without much difficulty.

Comfortable, quite spacious house with several centuries of history. Its last host was - recently deceased - Antonio, a well-known in Switzerland journalist, traveler, lover of history and the Far East. Hence, his house is the story of his passion and work - full of, among other things, wonderful books (in Italian). The house itself is a 15-minute drive (winding and quite narrow) from the nearest beach on Lake Lugano (Agno). A private garden is a super option. The appliances are not new, but they work, the house is cozy and on even hot days the temperature is ok, the thick walls do their job (no air conditioning). From the windows on the 2nd floor you have a great view of the nearby villages and the peak of Monte Lema so-called Malcantone, a valley gouged by a stream flowing through the bottom of a former glacier. A great place as a base for excursions to the remains of the mill (2 waterfalls!) or just to Monte Lema (a full day trip). The area is very quiet, on weekends the nearby church rings its bells only from 7 or 8 am, also no drama. Aranno itself is a tiny but charming town with few permanent residents, mostly elderly. Some people commute on weekends. However, it is still completely empty there. Coffee: Dolce Gusto. Garbage: segregation. Outdoor garbage cans with descriptions are on the 1st level of the parking lot. Directions and navigation: the operator will give you directions, but they are not super accurate. My directions: from the parking lot indicated by the operator, take the paved road directly to the church, then just before the church go left, up the diagonal paved road and walk to the back of the church. Then go up the stairs again and go under the canopy and continue straight ahead, having the city wall on your right. Your house with the steps and with the characteristic canopy over the entrance will be after about 100 meters, on the right. Good luck! Is it possible to drive your car right up to the door by small cars only.

Very nice and cosy appartment, Great garden with an excellent view. Negativ: the kettle (Wasserkocher) was not working and is anyway very small. Also no Nespresso machine. The double beds are fairly small, nice for young people, but not perfect for elder ones.
