Amazing views over the lake from the lovely balcony. Comfortable apartment for a family of four. I enjoyed watching the ferries coming and going at the ferry dock below. My husband enjoyed the starlings sweeping over the buildings and the pool in the evenings. The kids enjoyed the smart TV, the pool, and swimming in the lake. We watched two enormous storms over the mountains including a squall which visibly moved in across the lake. Argegno is in an excellent location on the lake for ferries to other destinations (we visited Tremezzo and Bellagio and Como) and also with a regular bus service up the lakeside. There's also a cable car up the mountain to Pigra with a walk to a scenic viewpoint. Bars and restaurants in Argegno were excellent. They catered for all of us including my picky 11 year old. There are just two small grocery shops with the basics, which close 1200-1600, and a market with fresh food and cheese and meat on a Monday. The other apartments in the block were mostly empty and it felt at times like we were were the only people there. The children often had the pool to themselves completely and I could keep an eye on them from the balcony above. An amazing local taxi driver, Elena, took us to Como station at short notice on our last day, making our journey and transfer super easy.

July 2018 We stayed here with our two kids for 10 days and would definitely recommend. The location is great, a 10 minute walk to the charming village of Argegno and the view from the apartment’s generous sized balcony is amazing. The kids loved the pool and from the village there are ferries to all the towns along the lake. Plenty to see and do. Apartment was well equipped. Air-con not as cool as I’d like but fans made up for that. All in all a great place to stay! Joan, UK

Malgré une belle vue sur le lac et un logement fonctionnel, notre sejour s est vu décevant car il n y avait pas d eau chaude, le contact local n a rien pu faire et ne nous a trouvé aucune solution, donc pas de douche pour 4 personnes. Le contact ne nous a plus donné de nouvelle et ne répond plus à nos messages. C est ahurissant en 2025 d avoir un tel manque de professionnalisme. Vraiment dommage !

Très bel endroit, Diego notre interlocuteur a bien négocié le geste commercial en rapport avec notre problème d’eau chaude. Heureusement d’ailleurs car on avait l’impression que notre requête n’aurait pas été prise en compte en sachant que 6 jours sur 10 nous n’avions pas eu d’eau chaude. Pour nous un manque de rapidité pour une telle intervention. Penser à faire vérifier la vaisselle mise à notre disposition il manquait des couverts ( ex: 1 couteau pour un logement de 4 personnes, ……) ça par contre très vite intervenu, le jour même de notre demande. Donner la possibilité à un responsable d’entrer dans le logement en cas de soucis pour éviter de demander aux touristes d’attendre le dépannage ( l’alarme et l’eau chaude). Dommage que les toilettes soient dans la salle de bain! C’est le seul bémol ! Environnement impeccable, vue magnifique, on se sentait en sécurité, pas de problème non plus pour notre véhicule et à cette période de l’année logement très calme super! Merci aussi à Diego!

June 2016 We really liked the property thank you. The property initially had no hairdryer however you quickly supplied us with one when we asked for one. This was obviously excellent customer service. We took the funicular up the hill which was great fun. We also ate in the pizzeria which was a fantastic meal. You could mention to guests that they can go down the steps to town rather than walk all the way along the main road. We explored and found this short cut, but It would be useful for guests to be informed of this route to town as it is not obvious. I hope the above is helpful. Nathalie, UK

Der Blick vom Balkon ist atemberaubend. Leider mangelte es bei der Ausstattung an einigen Punkten: ein hässlicher, dunkler Fleck von 20 cm Durchmesser auf dem Teppich, ein Bettlaken mit großem Loch, eine defekte Kaffeemaschine, vier abgezählte Messer und Gabeln, keine Auflagen für die Liegen auf dem Balkon, schmutzige Sitzpolster bei den anderen Balkonmöbeln… die reklamierte Kaffeemaschine und das Laken wurden vom lokalen Büro ingnoriert. Schade!!!

Amazing views over the lake from the lovely balcony. Comfortable apartment for a family of four. I enjoyed watching the ferries coming and going at the ferry dock below. My husband enjoyed the starlings sweeping over the buildings and the pool in the evenings. The kids enjoyed the smart TV, the pool, and swimming in the lake. We watched two enormous storms over the mountains including a squall which visibly moved in across the lake. Argegno is in an excellent location on the lake for ferries to other destinations (we visited Tremezzo and Bellagio and Como) and also with a regular bus service up the lakeside. There's also a cable car up the mountain to Pigra with a walk to a scenic viewpoint. Bars and restaurants in Argegno were excellent. They catered for all of us including my picky 11 year old. There are just two small grocery shops with the basics, which close 1200-1600, and a market with fresh food and cheese and meat on a Monday. The other apartments in the block were mostly empty and it felt at times like we were were the only people there. The children often had the pool to themselves completely and I could keep an eye on them from the balcony above. An amazing local taxi driver, Elena, took us to Como station at short notice on our last day, making our journey and transfer super easy.

July 2018 We stayed here with our two kids for 10 days and would definitely recommend. The location is great, a 10 minute walk to the charming village of Argegno and the view from the apartment’s generous sized balcony is amazing. The kids loved the pool and from the village there are ferries to all the towns along the lake. Plenty to see and do. Apartment was well equipped. Air-con not as cool as I’d like but fans made up for that. All in all a great place to stay! Joan, UK

Malgré une belle vue sur le lac et un logement fonctionnel, notre sejour s est vu décevant car il n y avait pas d eau chaude, le contact local n a rien pu faire et ne nous a trouvé aucune solution, donc pas de douche pour 4 personnes. Le contact ne nous a plus donné de nouvelle et ne répond plus à nos messages. C est ahurissant en 2025 d avoir un tel manque de professionnalisme. Vraiment dommage !

Loved the view! Walk up to the apartment was invigorating but could be quite tough if you don’t have a car (we arrived by ferry). Very clean. Communication was very responsive and he.

Très bel endroit, Diego notre interlocuteur a bien négocié le geste commercial en rapport avec notre problème d’eau chaude. Heureusement d’ailleurs car on avait l’impression que notre requête n’aurait pas été prise en compte en sachant que 6 jours sur 10 nous n’avions pas eu d’eau chaude. Pour nous un manque de rapidité pour une telle intervention. Penser à faire vérifier la vaisselle mise à notre disposition il manquait des couverts ( ex: 1 couteau pour un logement de 4 personnes, ……) ça par contre très vite intervenu, le jour même de notre demande. Donner la possibilité à un responsable d’entrer dans le logement en cas de soucis pour éviter de demander aux touristes d’attendre le dépannage ( l’alarme et l’eau chaude). Dommage que les toilettes soient dans la salle de bain! C’est le seul bémol ! Environnement impeccable, vue magnifique, on se sentait en sécurité, pas de problème non plus pour notre véhicule et à cette période de l’année logement très calme super! Merci aussi à Diego!

June 2016 We really liked the property thank you. The property initially had no hairdryer however you quickly supplied us with one when we asked for one. This was obviously excellent customer service. We took the funicular up the hill which was great fun. We also ate in the pizzeria which was a fantastic meal. You could mention to guests that they can go down the steps to town rather than walk all the way along the main road. We explored and found this short cut, but It would be useful for guests to be informed of this route to town as it is not obvious. I hope the above is helpful. Nathalie, UK

Der Blick vom Balkon ist atemberaubend. Leider mangelte es bei der Ausstattung an einigen Punkten: ein hässlicher, dunkler Fleck von 20 cm Durchmesser auf dem Teppich, ein Bettlaken mit großem Loch, eine defekte Kaffeemaschine, vier abgezählte Messer und Gabeln, keine Auflagen für die Liegen auf dem Balkon, schmutzige Sitzpolster bei den anderen Balkonmöbeln… die reklamierte Kaffeemaschine und das Laken wurden vom lokalen Büro ingnoriert. Schade!!!
