August 2016 We have recently had a wonderful holiday staying in Cadenabbia Vista Lago, Casa Elena Cadenabbia. We were very happy with the apartment, it is spacious and well equipped and has the most wonderful views, and a balcony to enjoy the view from! We really appreciated the bowl of fruit to welcome us, as well as the fact that there were many basic provisions in the apartment like salt, olive oil, coffee, toilet paper, dishwasher tablets.... It made staying there so easy. The apartment is in a great location, very near to the waterfront and the ferry terminal, and close to the main road for access, but is high enough away from the road to avoid the traffic noise. Cadenabbia is in the central lakes and it is easy to get to many wonderful places from there. The directions to the apartment were clear and easy to follow, and the team at the Happy Holidays offices in Menagio were very friendly and helpful. We did appreciate all the useful information we were sent by the team in the weeks before we came as well. Our one suggestion would be to have a Visitors Book in the apartment so that other guests who stay could write suggestions down about things to do, and information about local shops and amenities. (We only found a second very nice grocery shop in the area on our second to last day staying in Cadenabbia! ) We would definitely recommend this apartment to other travellers, and would love to return there ourselves !
