This is a fantastic place! the views are amazing, the walk from the ferry and the walk into town both took 5 minutes or less. I didn't realize when I booked it that it was in a building attached to the Grand hotel menaggio, but this made it very easy to find and made the walk straightforward and well lit. We arrived on the last ferry at night and it was raining hard so we were happy to not have to drag our luggage very far! The place was spotless. we were all walking on the hard floors barefoot and saying we genuinely don't know how they got them so clean! I wish we could have stayed twice as long in this wonderful place. Only thing I was missing was a dryer, since all 5 of us were washing clothes, but they had a drying rack and hangers in the rooms and we made it work. Would highly recommend this place to anyone going to Menaggio, it is a hidden gem for sure.

The house was in a perfect location to tour the Lake Como area. Ferry and bus is within a short walk. The house had a beautiful view of the lake with a balcony off the living and bedrooms. I would recommend this property for families.

The apartment was spacious, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The balconies and views were breathtaking. The kitchen had everything we needed (with a repair needed to the microwave door, which I have no doubt will get sorted right away. The management company was excellent at communication and they usually replied quickly by email (and were a few buildings away if we wanted to pop in and communicate or ask something). The bedrooms were lovely and the beds SO comfy! There was lots of storage space for our clothing. The windows were huge, providing such a light, airy atmosphere, and the air conditioning and plumbing were great. What an amazing place to appreciate Menaggio in all its glory!

What an amazing location and stunning apartment. The pictures really don’t do it justice. It really is the perfect place to stay. The apartment had everything we needed and the views of the lake were breathtaking in every room! Menaggio was our favourite village and we visited a few, so very glad we stayed they’re. Amazing square with relaxing restaurants and local shops. We completely loved our stay and would love to come back. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Casa Danielle again. Also throughly recommend the holiday company, they were so helpful and friendly. 5 stars all round from us xx

The location of the rental was great. The check in procedure was ok and they anticipated our needs. We were able to go to the restaurant next door for breakfast which was nice. There was a lot of restaurants close by as well

Our family had an awesome stay at the Casa Daniele! Great location close to the ferry terminal, bus stop right outside and just steps from the center of Menaggio. Apartment was very clean, spacious and offered great views from the small balcony. Perfect for families and we'd love to stay again next time we visit!

The apartment was huge and very comfortable. It had everything and more that you would need. The balcony overlooking the lake was fantastic. Location was amazing. 5 minute walk to the ferry terminal and a 2 minute walk to a supermarket.

The apartment was in an excellent location. The ferry terminal was a 3 minute walk and the supermarket 1 minute. Fantastic views of the lake from our balcony. Very close to restaurants and shops. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean. It was huge with 3 bedrooms. It had everything and more for what you need when self catering. All 3 bedrooms were big. My only suggestion would be for blockout curtains in the 2nd main bedroom. The windows only had thin white canvas like curtain over each panel. Too much light including streets lights coming into the room at night which made it hard to sleep. The staff at the property management office were excellent and extremely helpful, especially Diego. All in all, an amazing apartment to rent

Stayed here with my husband in mid October. Check in was simple, their directions and suggestions for parking were incredibly helpful. The space was wonderful, relatively updated. Three bedrooms, 1 and a half bathrooms. The bed we slept in was firm and comfortable, and the linens were great as well. It was just the two of us but a family or a couple's trip could also be very well accomodated here. The views were breathtaking and the shared garden was a great feature. Basically worth it to book just for this! Menaggio is definitely our favorite city on Lake Como...quiet, not as busy...Casa Daniela's location was close enough to town where you could take a short walk (5-7 minutes) for coffee, errands, or dinner but far enough away where you could enjoy some solitude. The 1 minute walk to the ferry is also convenient! Overall, we loved it and would 100% book again.

A beautiful location and apartment was great! Picturesque views from the balcony and bedroom! Walking distance to everything you could want and staff were helpful at check in. We had an amazing stay at Casa Danielle and would recommend to anyone planning a trip to Lake Como!

Great location - short walk to everything in Menaggio and right next to the ferry to go to the other towns. We loved the views and felt the inside was spacious and comfortable. A good deal compared to hotels, so we would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful time at the Casa Daniele! The property was gorgeous and the views were amazing! They also gave a very cute welcome package upon arrival! Would highly recommend if you’re traveling to Lake Como! This place is a must see and less than a 5 minute walk to all of the restaurants in Menaggio! 5 stars!

Location was perfect. Unit was clean and had everything we wanted (although instructions on how to use the washer would be helpful). Management team was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again and use same property management team. Very pleased with this experience.

The apartment is situated close to the ferry, and in a short walking distance of the Piazza in Menaggio. Very nice apartment with 3 large bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen and a living room. Would highly recommend this apartment. It has large windows and a balcony with a great view to the lake and the sunrise above the mountains by Varenna.

Absolutely loved our stay here! The pictures don’t do the view justice, we loved sitting out on the balcony in the mornings and evenings. Clean, spacious, and easy to get to anywhere else in the central lake region as you’re right next to the ferry stop.

Me, my partner and family loved our stay here at Menaggio! The location is fantastic and the views were spectacular!! Super easy check-in & check-out process. The only downside is that check-in isn’t until 16:00, so if you were arriving earlier than this, you would have to wait about. Overall, we would definitely stay again! Thank you for a lovely stay x

Wow! This place was truly amazing. The apartment was huge and fit 6 people so comfortably. The view was absolutely breathtaking, we felt so lucky! The location was perfect being so close to the ferry port. Cannot recommended this place more. I definitely will have to come back.

Casa Daniele’s location and space are unmatched! It was right next to the ferry, close to the bus station and Piazza, plus the views of the lake are phenomenal. The unit is spacious, clean, well stocked with materials, and our favorite as Americans - the air conditioning worked flawlessly in July. I would absolutely recommend this space to anyone looking to stay in Menaggio.

The location. The view. Amazing. So close to the water. We could also see Varenna and Bellagio. Mornings and evenings at the balcony...such a bliss...watching the lake under the sun... And so close to the square and promenade of Menaggio. The perfect spot.

July 2018 We had an amazing time at Casa Danielle in Menaggio and hope to return again in the near future. The apartment was very easy to find and the location on the lake front was absolutely breathtaking. The close proximity to shops, restaurants and the ferry point could not have been better. The apartment itself, within a gorgeous historic building, was decorated and dressed to a very high standard. Everything that we needed was provided, including a very beautiful kitchen with quality white goods and well stocked utensils. But the real show stopper for us was the view of Lake Como from the many balconies. We found ourselves longing to return to the apartment every day to enjoy the vista from our own private balconies. July 2018 Casa Daniele, has much to recommend it. Fantastic location with stunning views of Lake Como. Adjoining ( but not part of ) the Grand Hotel Menaggio, Casa Daniele provides close access to the town centre restaurants and bars, with nearby ( 10 min walk ) to secure private parking. The spacious and bright interior offers ample space to just chill or enjoy a meal with one of the best views in town! With a few simple improvements, this property would be a comfortable 5 star. A basic welcome pack would be nice - common to all other properties we stayed in on our tour of Italy. Printed instructions for the TV ( rather than available online! ) . Totally inadequate toilet provisions! Wine glasses that befit the property and and the country - there were barely two the same. All sounds rather petty I know but would just make your stay all the more wonderful. Would still highly recommend! Ian, UK

May 2017 Your instructions on how to: find the keys and then the apartment was very precise and easy to follow. We though the apartment was of: a good size and very well appointed. The views of “Lario” and the Alps absolutely stunning! Its location within the town was excellent: restaurants, bars and the Port were in easy walking distance, no hills. I have a slight disability and walking uphill can be difficult so this was perfect for me. The meeting in your office and the presentation given by Elisa, on the Saturday morning was very friendly, informative and useful. The restaurants and bars were all pleasant the staff particularly friendly. Our favourite restaurant was the “Hotel Garni Corona” the food and in particular the service was second to none! My granddaughter loved the Lido and the Mini Golf, she even took a dip in the lake, it was very cold she said so, unfortunately, I gave that pleasure a miss. All in all our experience in Menaggio was in a word Perfecto! We have recommended it to our friends and family. Many thanks and best regards Gary, UK

March 2017 My family and I just returned from almost two weeks in Italy. We rented apartments in Siena and Venice in addition to your beautiful apartment in Menaggio. There were six of us including two children ages 9 and 11. The apartment was perfectly suited for us. We loved having a full kitchen so we could eat breakfast in every morning. Also took advantage of having a washing machine. Very helpful. We took a guided boat tour on the Lake. Thank you so much for all the suggestions for making our stay enjoyable. The view from the apartment overlooking Lake Como was spectacular. We were very impressed. We also enjoyed perfect weather while there and on the rest of the trip. I would certainly recommend Happy Holiday Homes to all my friends and relatives. This was my husband’s and my fourth trip to beautiful Italy, but the first with our daughter and family. This was our second stay in this lovely apartment. Perfect location and the most incredible views. We did have some issues getting the key to the shared garden, from experience we knew not to use the garden without having a key to get back in as the residents lock the door. Unfortunately we didn’t get the key until 2 days before we left - but understand it’s a new key and is now on the key ring given to guests so others shouldn’t have this issue.

Posizione splendida, proprio in riva al lago. con le finestre aperte si sente il rumore delle onde. Alloggio molto bello, peccato per la cucina molto sporca (stoviglie, pentole, tostapane...) e per i materassi vecchi e sfondati.
