Beautiful little apartment, the living/kitchen area actually ended up being more spacious than the photos lead you to expect which was nice. Having the small washing machine for clothes was wonderful as well. Only small critique is there weren’t extra pillow cases to use on the extra pillows that were in the basket in our bedroom (only one pillow on each bed) and my husband is a multi-pillow sleeper! The kitchen is fully stocked, there’s laundry equipment, and they even have a greeting bottle of rosé for you upon arrival. If you follow the arrival instructions/photos it really isn’t difficult to find the entrance/check-in, but it is a bit of a hike from the train station so be prepared if you’ve got lots of luggage. Overall would recommend and stay again.

The location is great. The accommodation is spacious and with good amenities. Need to ask for wifi password ahead of time as it is not included on the check-in instructions.

The apartment was good only one thing missing there are no mirrors to get your hair and makeup done. We were there for a wedding and couldn't check what we looked like. There was a lovely terrace overlooking the lake no mention of it.

The apartment was in a perfect location in town, clean, plenty of space. Instructions were very clear for retrieving the key. Be sure to get the WiFi password before you get there- we somehow missed that so didn’t have WiFi for the first night.

Excellent apartment. Fab location. Clean, quiet even though it's in the center of Varenna. My friends loved it. All mod cons, comfortable beds and the property management company were great. A shout out to Franco who provided a great service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I would highly recommend this place.

We arrived late Friday evening and walked from the train station. We struggled to find it as the directions were from the road/square which was our fault! Stick to the road route and don’t head to the lake if you’re walking . The apartment is in a perfect location and presented as described. I would agree with other comments about the wifi - I had to ask for the code and didn’t receive a response until Sunday morning (our stay was Friday to Monday). I would definitely stay here again and recommend it for your stay too. Great space and facilities provided once you find it! 😊

This is a beautiful apartment that looks like it was recently remodeled. Great location, with a great view from the little shared patio. (Although it needed chairs.) Very secure property. Steps away from everything there.

Varenna was our FAVORITE place for our stay in the region. The arrival instructions were clear and we had very little trouble finding the unit. The pictures provided to assist in locating the unit were very helpful. There was no wifi credentials in the unit and the company closed at 5 and did not provide the credentials until the next day. Not a huge issue, but just be aware the rental company is not responsive after 5 PM. This could be a problem if you arrived later and couldn't gain entry. I tried all 3 phone numbers they provided and the app. The location is close to everything in Varenna, but then again, the town is small, so everything is close. I would recommend this apartment....good value. Other tips... Take a private taxi boat tour at end the day. Lake is quiet and the experience is fantastic. Walk to the old castle above town...great view Avoid the gelato location next to Bar Il Molo. The owner yells at customers:(. Several other gelato options.

The situation of the apartment was only a few yards from the edge of the lake close to the main square and restaurants. There is a veranda where the views are tremendous however is not shown on the booking advert. We spent several hours mainly on a night looking over to the lake. It is so peaceful after 10pm at night that we really relaxed on an evening after our meal. I have stayed at Bellagio in the past however this apartment far exceeded the other. Not too far a walk to and from the ferry and train station. Do yourself a favour and hire a boat for 3 hours to see the lake from the water, well worth the money

The apartment is beautiful with everything you would need. The location is just fabulous. Near to everything. It has an outside terrace which overlooks the Lake and is a dream to sit out on in the evening.

The apartment is centrally located in Varenna but in a quiet corner. It has everything you need for a holiday. The apartment was clean and spacious and had 2 bedroom however we only need 1. The living area was very spacious, the kitchen was well equipped and, the lounge was comfortable and the bathroom with a washing machine was very good. There was a “welcome food box” to help us with the first night and morning which was very much appreciated. Thank you so much to the property managers. A delightful stay. Would highly recommend. The Al Prato restaurant,below the apartments, was a real find. The best meal I have ever had. Beautiful food, great menu, lovely staff, terrific location … you should make a booking before you arrive if you can.

Nice clean apartment. Great communication with how to find apartment and get keys. Nice welcome package when we arrived with wine, and some snacks. It was hard to really enjoy the apartment because we were there in a heat wave…95 plus degrees! They had three fans which was great. Restaurant below looks good, but make reservations before you come. We could not get in. They have a nice little community balcony with amazing views, but apartment had a limited view of the lake. The walk from where you have to drop luggage is not very far and fairly easy with the directions they give, maybe 3-5 min. The walk from the parking garage to the apartment is a little longer, maybe 7-10 min. So if you don’t like to drag your luggage this might now be the place for you, but is very manageable. Overall I would recommend!

What a great location in Varenna! The apartment seems a bit tucked away at first, but once inside, it is spacious, updated, clean and very comfortable. Make sure to take advantage of the shared terrace and it's spectacular view in the early evening. And make a reservation at the restaurant below (Al Prato) as soon as you arrive because they fill up...it's fabulous!

Wonderful apartment in amazing location! Very clean, rooms were spacious, and did I mention the prime location? 3 of us had more than enough room to spread out and relax. Highly recommend!!!! Mgmt company also very quick to respond & added bonus, they left us a wonderful bottle of wine and some goodies upon arrival, which was very much appreciated! Loved this property in beautiful and charming Varenna, would definitely stay here again! Added bonus - washing machine for our clothes! Tip - we arrived by train. If you don't want to walk to/ from the train station, I suggest taking a taxi to/from the Hotel Grand Victoria, which is located in Varenna's main square. Apartment is steps away from there - will make your life easier!

the apt is big, recently renewed and very clean, equipped with everything! it is fairly close to the ferry station (10 min walk) and the surroundings are just wonderful! the walk to the ferry is full of picturesque houses and many flowers (at least in July). all questions and support info like how to arrive by train and drivers numbers were provided by the host service. when we arrived there were complimentary things like snacks and bevarages.

June 2018 Excellent, central location in Varenna. Easy to get anywhere in town from Piazza di Prato. Varenna is a beautiful alternative to Bellagio. We went over to Bellagio for a couple of day visits, easy 10 minute ferry ride, nice to come back to the relative quiet of Varenna, beautiful and serene. Bruce, UK

Home was clean, as advertised and in an excellent location. The place was hard to find though. Maybe nothing can be done about that because of the town and streets, but perhaps pictures to the entrance or if you note landmarks to look for. Also, it would be helpful for the wifi login to be on the main info sheet that is shared with the renters. Since we are from foreign country, wifi is a huge asset and we can't easily communicate without it.

LOVED the location!!!! It was the perfect location. We enjoyed sitting on the patio off the parking lot and watching the scenery as the sun set. The place was clean. It was nice to have hair dryer. It was also nice to have the bottles of water and wine. It was welcoming.

Overall, a pleasant stay at the vacation home! During our stay, the entire building got a power tripped but was quickly rectified - thank goodness. One thing that I would like to suggest to make it better, maybe to provide a sponge and dish washing detergent as it wasn't provided when I was there. Washing machine was helpful to us!

Apartment is in a great location, walking distance to everything in Varenna. Apartment has a spacious kitchen, living area. Shower can slow to a trickle and WIFI was not working when we were there although was in the process of getting fixed and refund was given for WiFi component of stay.

The location was great and close to everything in the center of town. It was a good size apartment and was clean and tidy. The instructions to find the property and accessing it were easy to follow which was good as the agent is not in town. Once the car was parked there was no need to get into it again for a few days as everything was easily accessible by foot or by ferry.

The location was really great and in a very walkable area, close to a lot of restaurants. It was a bit hard to find at first, but only because we came from the train station and the detailed instructions were more for people arriving by car. The place was cute and fairly well-kept, but there was a bit of noticeable mold on the walls in the living room and one bedroom. Our blow dryer also didn’t work, which did make it a bit hard to have 3 gals get ready, but it wasn’t the end of the world. Though we didn’t use it, the unit did have a washing machine which was a nice feature! The staff at Lake Como Holiday was also extremely responsive and great to communicate with. They even left us a cute welcome basket. Overall, very happy with the stay.

Fantastic location right in the heart of the old town behind the historic port but still quite peaceful. Nice sized bedrooms and living area. Washing machine was a huge bonus. The building was quite safe and secure being behind a closed automatic gate. Good kitchen if you wanted to cook your own meals but doesn't really make sense to do so because not really any decent supermarkets. Terrace out the front has an amazing outlook but needs some chairs to sit down

Great location within easy walking distance of the station and all main attractions in Varenna. Easy, detailed instructions of how to find the apartment and check-in. Lovely views from the communal veranda. The apartment was well presented with plenty of space but was just missing some basics which would have made for a better experience like enough washing up liquid/dishwasher tablets, oil, salt, pepper etc.

The apartment was perfect for our needs, the beds were comfortable, and we liked the location, however, the address provided was incorrect and we could not reach the host for a bit while dragging our luggage around Varenna trying to find the address provided. The pictures of the shared terrace were a little misleading, as it is very small and does not have any seating, only the ability to stand but the view is INCREDIBLE. Besides those two small things, our stay was lovely!

This is a great location to stay in the village. The kitchen is newly renovated with quality appliances( we did not cook there). The beds are small and with out head boards. The provided latitude & longitude for the check in instructions is way off it should be. Had troubles to find the right key box because of the wrong label. Had troubles to close the key box when check out( I think the key box is too small).

Location great. A bit tricky to find but the pics sent in the email with directions were a big help. Find green garage door just past hotel Dulac and head left down till you see the 20’ gate. Key box is there.
