The location was perfect. The check in instructions were very detailed . However, we were arriving late at night which made it more difficult to check in. Checking out was easy because we knew our surroundings. It was great parking was provided but in the middle of the night it was a little stressful to find. The location makes up for any other inconveniences. The best pizza we had on our trip was in the square next to the unit.

Cute apartment in a fantastic location. Lift to third floor. Private parking spot five minutes walk from the apartment which is invaluable if driving. Showers good. Beds comfy. Nice welcome pack on arrival. Not the best equipped kitchen if cooking at home. Apartment was very cold in the evening in early October before Central heating allowed to be turned on.

Perfect location for restaurants.Accessible to ferries for visiting Varenna and Bellagio. Also, ideal for getting to supermarkets. Proximity to bus station good particularly should visitors wish to make day trip to Lugano, Switzerland. Overall,brilliant experience.

Séjour incroyable, appartement superbe, grand, au calme, beaucoup de fournitures à disposition. Personnel excellent, communication nickel. Localisation géniale, proche de tout : ferry, restaurant, lac, supermarché, arrêt de bus. Même un parking privé. Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances.

Great property and looks as advertised! The location and views are both wonderful. The apt was spacious, well-stocked and clean. We enjoyed the stay and it was very comfortable. The outdoor pool was awesome and not too crowded. The indoor pool was closed for repairs during our stay. We didn’t use the gym. Security was very tight so you are very safe. There are a codes required to enter certain areas so be prepared to memorize them.The only feedback were about the towels and the blue lint on the white towels that stuck to your skin. I would recommend separating whites from the darks. Thank you for hosting our family.

Absolutely loved this place. Super clean, well kept. Location was wonderful, just a quick walk to the beach. Very quiet neighborhood. Huge beach closet with anything you could need for the beach. Easy parking. Walking distance to kooky coconut and nice pickleball courts less than a mile away. Super clean pool and wonderful pool deck with a huge umbrella and nice furniture.You did have to leave the pool vacuum in the pool which wasn’t ideal, but we named him Andy and accepted him as part of the gang. Loved the keyless entry and usb ports in the lamps. Comfortable beds. Very powerful shower but if you get sunburned there’s no way to make it lighter. Awesome to have laundry in the unit. A couple odds and ends. The water would not get cold even after running a while. No TV’s in the bedrooms and the living room tv has only Netflix and prime for streaming. Just 3 of us but we could have used more towels. The cookware was all in really good shape but the knives really need to be replaced. They’re dangerously dull. Great dishwasher in the unit. There’s also an icemaker which was great have. The covered patio was wonderful too with really comfortable furniture. Oh and great AC in the unit. We also could have used a pen.We had a small toilet issue that was addressed immediately by the owner. Would 100% recommend staying here.

Lovely central location, lake view from main bedroom. As I have mobility issues, the lift to the property was a necessity, being on the 3rd floor. All necessities included, as well as welcome box of essentials eg milk, cereal, tea and coffee etc. Good standard of cleanliness and comfort. All in all, a positive experience!

Menaggio provides 10/10 - 100% Relaxing We really liked that the place was located i the center of everything. Walking distance to ferry( travel to Varenna❤️, Belaggio❤️, Lenno❤️ etc), bus, restaurants, bars, lakeview in almost 180°. There was also a nice bakery just downstairs from the main frontdoor with the finest cakes and sweets(bread was bought every day from a bakery further up the streets, Il Fornia i think the name was)👌. The Foods was great, the local people where smiling (of course if you gave a smile yourself) and the HPS Management (the Company which facilitates the whole rental agreement) where polite, trustworthy and i will give them 10/10 according to the service they provided. We will come back to Menaggio for sure and could rent the same appartment if they will rent it out again to us as well😊

Upstairs loft is just that - a loft with slanted beams. More suitable for children or shorter adults. Place was very nice, clean and great location. They even provided a bottle of wine and snacks upon our arrival. A very nice touch! Highly recommend this location!

This was our 2nd year staying at La Piazza Menaggio. It was delightful and even better this year. The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive as before. The location is perfect right above the square. The apartment is spacious and more than adequately equipped. We hope to return many times in the future.

Great location and nice place. A bit complicated if you arrive by car as there is no place to park by the agency where you pick up the keys. Parking garage is also very tight. Lake Como is wonderful and the apartment is in the center of the village with everything close and accessible. I do recommend a sunset cruise.

We had a great time. The rental was very conveniently located to everything in town. It was well appointed, and the rental management team was excellent. Please be aware that the video on the property was not something we were ever able to access and thus we were guessing as to house rules and checkout. We ended up putting our keys in the bottom of the rental management team key box due to the fact they were not open when we needed to catch our transportation out of the Lake Como area.

The apartment is awesome. Very clean, fully stocked kitchen, Water pressure was great for showers!!! The location is perfect. The parking garage is very convenient. Having an elevator was a bonus. The pictures don't do it justice. I'd go back again tomorrow.

Extraordinary location steps from Garibaldi Piazza and it’s bustling cafe scene. We ended our 10 day vacation in Italy with a relaxing 2 day stay in Menaggio. The apartment is located conveniently in the square with restaurants and shops steps away. We were delighted to find an elevator to our apartment. The apartment is well appointed with all amenities. The welcome gift was a nice touch. There are 3 bedrooms, one on the main floor. The remaining 2 bedrooms and bath is located on the second floor accessed by a narrow winding staircase. We found the apartment to be cozy, clean and conveniently located.

September 2017 So sorry for the lapse in time for my reply. We absolutely loved the apartment and would recommend it to anyone. It had everything required for our week. The coffee shop just opposite in the piazza was amazing. All the restaurants in the small alleys were also very good. It was a busy time for us so I can't remember any names. The supermarket was only walking distance too and was completely amazing for all food, wine and other essential requirements. The close proximity to the ferry was perfect. Great location and well appointed apartment. Good communication. What we didn't like was how difficult it was to open the apartment door and garage. It seemed the keys weren't quite exactly the correct cut for the lock and it took longer than it should to open the doors. Quite frustrating.

The location is unbeatable, what more can you ask for! Once you get out of your building, you are at the centre of everything . Parking garage is a plus point for travellers with car, though might be a little tight space. They have sky TV.

The place was clean and situated in a great area. It was walking distance from the local stores and restaurants and very close to Lake Como. The views from the windows were very nice. We took a chance booking the unit knowing that there was no AC and knowing that it was going to be warm weather during our stay. The place could use more portable fans. This made our stay a little rough at times. We rented a car and one of the rarest commodities in the area is parking which this unit included. Parking is in a not too remote of a location in a secured parking garage. The kitchen vent hood and under cabinet lighting was not working. Hopefully that is something that could be addressed for future guests. Overall for the price and location, it was a great place to stay. If the weather is not predicted to be very hot, we would stay there again.

Apartment exceeded expectations. It’s better than the pictures. Upstairs rooms were a little pokey with low head room due to sloping roof and were quite hot. You couldn’t leave skylight windows open at night in case of rain. Otherwise, it was well equipped and we had a really good time there.

We had a wonderful time at Bellavista Grande. It Is a lovely setting with astonishing views and a wonderful outdoor space. The property was very easy to find if you are walking from town or the ferry – a little more challenging in the car. The office team was superb! We thank you for the lovely welcome food and wine we received upon arrival! We loved the area so much it is difficult to pick a favorite. It is breathtakingly beautiful! We packed a lot into 3 days and wish we could have stayed longer. We enjoyed the main piazza in Menaggio, and the bread and meat markets that were close by. Dinner outside at Il Ristorante di Paolo was fabulous, as were cocktails at the Hotel du Lac outside bar. The ferry was very easy to catch – just a short walk from the property and it ran on time. We loved Varenna and the hike to the Castello Di Vezio, as well as the climb up the castle tower. The shops in Bellaggio were much fun, and the walk through Lenno and to Villa Balbianella was gorgeous.

LA Piazza certainly lived up to our expectations and was exactly as displayed on the web site. Menaggio is a perfect location for touring in the Lake Como region and the ferry terminal is conveniently located to the appartment. The apartment was well appointed and clean. The welcome pack (including champagne) was great as was the welcome provided at the office. Our thanks to all the staff at Happy Holiday Homes and we will certainly recommend this property.

First off I will say the location of the apartment could not be beat and the office was a tremendous help especially Viviana she was the best very very helpful and informative ,we absolutely loved Menaggio and after visiting the towns of bellaggio and Varrenna which were awesome as well ,we knew we had picked the best place with Menaggio ,less touristy great food and nice people we especially loved pizzeria Lugano good service very nice people and great food at reasonable prices ,we didn't care for our tour for the bernina express ,too much time on the bus and not enough on the train and I don't believe anyone on the tour liked the town of St Moritz ,as for the apartment itself it was quite sufficient for our needs although I would recommend someone meet you at the apartment initially just to go over a few simple things that would make check in a little less stressful ,like initially what door to go in and how to operate the keys although we figured it out it was quite stressful at first also how to operate a AC radio washing machine coffee maker and I would recommend if possible a dryer as the towel situation was scarce other than that I would highly recommend the apartment and certainly Menaggio it was a wonderful vacation thank you very much!

We enjoyed the location of Le Piazza Menaggio and the ferry service to Bellagio and boat rental. The parking was fine and all restaurants were good. My teenage boys especially had a great time after meeting Italian friends and going to clubs at night. We really enjoyed Menaggio and Lake Como and plan to return in the future.

We rented La Piazza Menaggio from May 20-24 and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The apartment is in a perfect location for those without a car as it was an easy walk from the ferry to the rental office and then to the apartment. We were were always greeted by staff with warm enthusiasm. The apartment is on the third floor of a very quiet building and the elevator was very quick and convenient. The apartment furnishings were very nice with stunning views from the master bedroom and the living room windows. We could see the river, mountains – even the Alps! We picked up some local meats, breads, cheeses and wine one evening and made a lovely dinner enjoyed by candlelight. The beds were comfortable and the two bathrooms a luxury. Being on one of the squares made it easy to pop out in the morning for a croissant & cappuccino or we could have breakfast at home. Walking anywhere in the village was easy with outstanding views of the lake and mountains. We purchased an all-day boat ticket at the ferry office one day and visited Verenna, Bellagio, and Tremezzo – a perfect day. We explored Menaggio including a walking tour up to Loveno where we had a delicious lunch at the Hotel Royal. Mr. Colombo visited our table and even shared his home made lemon chutney with us! What a view from the upper hills of Menaggio! I would advise visitors to be sure to stop in at the tourist information center as they have great information about activities in the area!! The local restaurants and bars were all very tasty and staff always friendly and helpful. We especially enjoyed some wine tasting at Fusi & Sfusi where we filled up plastic liters of wine now and then at great prices – to take back to the apartment. We especially liked Osteria il Pozzo for dinner one evening. Actually, we did not have a bad dining experience anywhere we went. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone who is visiting Lake Como. We thought of the villages in this area, Menaggio was the very best! It offers lots to do, just enough shopping but is not overwhelming at all. Thanks to the staff for such good, friendly service – we are already recommending you and this property to others. Thank you for your message. We had a lovely holiday thank you – the office staff were very helpful on arrival and the apartment was perfectly located for what we wanted. I am attaching one photo – which is of the kids rolling down one of the hills at the Villa Melzi in Belaggio. They had a brilliant time! Our favorite trips were the walk around the suburbs of Bellagio that we got from tourist information, the walk around the old parts of Menaggio with the children's’ trail - again from tourist information, and climbing up to the castle at Varenna. We particularly love the little bakery in Menaggio that sells focaccia breads with peppers or tomatoes sliced on top – perfect for picnics. I hope we will come back to the apartment again as it was exactly where we wanted to be – and remarkably quiet for being so central. Fingers crossed!

Here are our thoughts on La Piazza Menaggio, which we rented from you for one week: We located the property quite easily, and it was exactly as represented on your website. Everything was clean, and the appliances worked perfectly. Your team was most helpful in every way. We do have one suggestion for improvement, and that is to make sure all the keys work easily in the locks. The lock to the downstairs (outside) door was very difficult to open, and one set of our keys was also difficult to use in opening the front door of the residence. Our favorite restaurants included Ristorante di Paolo and La Baita for dinners, and a smaller restaurant (La Trattoria di Nogara) that offered free wifi along with very nice food and good service. If we return to Lake Como, we will most certainly ask for your help in locating a residence. Thank you for your help.

We had such a FANTASTIC time staying in la Piazza Menaggio! The holiday apartment was located in a really charming period building in one of Menaggio's main lakefront piazzas. We had a great sense of lake life staying here; with the cafes, shops, lakefront and restaurants all on our doostep! We loved just sitting in the main piazza with a cappuccino in the mornings to people spot and enjoy the sunshine. The apartment was beautifully furnished and we felt so comfortable and at home there. All the mods cons were provided and the fully-equipped kitchen was quite simply a joy to cook in! San Paolo..and Red Bay were both lovely restaurants and the local pizzerias were also very good. The Lido in the town was great for daytime relaxing and in the evenings a few times a week it really became a fun place to go to in the evenings and enjoy a cocktail on the lakefront terrace there. The Happy holiday homes team in Menaggio were so good to us..from the welcome hamper, babysitting and tourist advice; nothing was too much trouble for them! I would really recommend Menaggio if you are thinking of coming to the lake. You can reach all the main attractions and leisure activities from here by bus and ferry! Thanks for a fantastic time :)

We enjoyed our stay in La Piazza and found it to be in the most perfect location. The directions that were given made it easy to find your office in Menaggio as well as La Piazza itself. The apartment was close to everything yet was quiet in the evenings to allow a good night's sleep. The wonderfully comfortable beds and high standard of bed linens added to our comfort. La Piazza was absolutely spotless and the furniture was quite nice. Staying in Menaggio was a great choice...busy enough to have everything you might need close by and yet not as 'touristy' as some of the other towns.

Thanks for your help in booking La Piazza Menaggio, and for the very welcome Prosecco! We found the property easily and loved it's central and convenient location. It was very comfortable with lovely views and decor. We were only in the Lakes for 3 nights so it was just a taster of the area during a longer trip in Italy. I'm sure our activities (Varenna, Bellagio, Carlotta) were nothing out of the ordinary, but they were very enjoyable. Sept 2010 We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in La Piazza Menaggio & found the service provided by Lake Como Homes excellent. I was very impressed by the emails received with instructions & directions prior to arrival. All directions were perfect & made it very easy to find both the office & the apartment. The apartment itself was fantastic. The location could not be better, right on the square, yet it certainly wasn't noisy for us. La Piazza Menaggio is very modern & comfortable, and completely equipped with everything you need. It is great that there were 2 bathrooms & the apartment was spotlessly clean, with plenty of towels available. (However there was only 1 shower, as it wasn't suitable to shower in the downstairs bathroom, but this was not a problem for us) We attended a wedding while we were there, so some of the wedding party (who were staying in a local hotel) visited us to see the apartment. Everyone agreed that it was fantastic & some people said they would like to return to Menaggio & stay in an apartment like La Piazza Menaggio. (Especially given the fact that some of the local hotels are quite expensive, yet the rooms are not very modern). The book in the apartment from Lake Como Homes was very good for telling us about everything to do in the area & also what needed to be done on leaving the apartment & where to leave the key. All in all, we were very happy with the apartment & the service provided by Lake Como Homes. I would highly recommend your company to anyone visiting Lake Como. (We passed the office a few times during our stay & there was always a lovely dog inside the office, he is beautiful!)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in La Piazza Menaggio & found the service provided by Lake Como Homes excellent. I was very impressed by the emails received with instructions & directions prior to arrival. All directions were perfect & made it very easy to find both the office & the apartment. The apartment itself was fantastic. The location could not be better, right on the square, yet it certainly wasn't noisy for us. La Piazza Menaggio is very modern & comfortable, and completely equipped with everything you need. It is great that there were 2 bathrooms & the apartment was spotlessly clean, with plenty of towels available. (However there was only 1 shower, as it wasn't suitable to shower in the downstairs bathroom, but this was not a problem for us) We attended a wedding while we were there, so some of the wedding party (who were staying in a local hotel) visited us to see the apartment. I would first like to express my thanks for the assistance we received during our stay. All the staff were polite, enthusiastic, and helpful.Booking was relatively easy. The pre-arrival instructions were particularly helpful. I greatly appreciated the inclusion of photos (e.g., your office; the entry to the building where the apartment was; the approach to the garage).The property was particularly well located for a visitor to Menaggio. The apartment was quite spacious, and certainly adequate for our requirements. I found the village of Menaggio quite attractive and enjoyable. It has a wonderful, lake-side location, enhanced by the snow-capped moutains towering above it. I liked sitting in the main square and watching the locals; and walking through the narrow, sometimes dark, village streets. Probably the highlight for us was finding our way to the Chiesetta, perched on a high spur just south of the village. We enjoyed its peacefulness, and the spectacular views to the village and the lake. We also very much enjoyed the agriturismo restaurant recommended by Andrea, a few minutes' drive up into the hills behind Menaggio. We also had a lovely drive to Lake Lugano. It was a clear winter's day, and the reflection of snow capped mountains and village buildings on the silver water of the lake was spectacular. As you can tell, we very much enjoyed our time in Menaggio.

Die Lage war gut. Die Angestellten im Büro waren sehr nett und sie haben probiert die meisten Probleme zu lösen und es kam immer schnell jemand vorbei. Man kann mit dem Bus nach Como fahren und mit der Fähre nach Varenna (ein toller Ort) oder nach Bellagio. Menaggio ist wirklich sehr schön mit der langen Promenade. Es hat uns dort sehr gut gefallen.
