Das Appartement in Plesio hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Ein besonderer Komfort war die Tiefgarage mit direktem Zugang in das Treppenhaus und die wunderbare Dachterrasse mit Pool und Ausblick über den See. Die Wohnung war gut ausgestattet und sehr gemütlich. Wie schon in der Beschreibung angekündigt, ist der Straßenverkehr zeitweise etwas unangenehm gewesen, was uns ja aber bekannt war. Etwas schwieriger war die Lösung mit der Abfallbeseitigung zu finden. Da könnte man im Vorfeld und in der Wohnung eine Beschreibung hinterlassen, wo man den Müll entsorgen kann. Wir wären sogar länger geblieben und kommen gern wieder.

Die Lage der Wohnung ist super und die Aussicht ein Traum. Von der Wohnung kann man andere Orte wie zb. Belgaio oder Varenna gut besuchen. Um in die Stadt nach Mengaggio zu kommen benötigt man aber ein Auto. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt !

This place is an absolute must if visiting Lake Como. The central lake location is perfect. The view is possibly the best I've ever seen. Both from the private balcony and the upstairs terrace with infinity pool. Perfect for sitting with a glass of wine in the evening as the sun goes down. We walked into Central Menaggio in around 17 minutes, down the steps through the historic area of Loveno, passed the Pizza restaurant (5 minutes walk) and the local Trattoria (6 minutes walk). Beautiful views en route. The apartment is well equipped with good WiFi and smart TV. Added bonus was the library of classic CDs which the kids enjoyed each evening before bed. The modern kitchen was much appreciated when we had been out all day visiting beautiful towns like Bellagio, Varenna and Argegno, to rustle up supper for our worn out children. The open plan design is very chic and well designed. If you want luxury this apartment is the perfect place to stay. Highly recommended. We hope to be back very soon. 10/10.

Super schöne Unterkunft mit tollem Blick auf den See. Für vier Personen völlig ausreichend und gut eingerichtet. Alles hat reibungslos funktioniert. In die Stadt runter benötigt man allerdings am besten schon ein Auto. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Clean and very nice apartment with great views and well-functioning equipment. Great directions with illustrations on how to get there, use the garage etc. On the slightly negative side the pool was closed (mid October). We had not been informed about this and had been looking forward to swimming a bit. No big deal as the weather this week was mostly wet and relatively cold. For hikers: very easy access to great hikes to Monte Grona and Monte Bregagno with parking a few kilometers up the hill. A bit far to walk to Menaggio from the apt., but there are car-free and good short-cuts all the way down.

Views to die for from the property and the rooftop pool especially. Needs some maintenance and definitely new outdoor furniture which was in an embarrassingly awful state. Great walk down into town on a mixture of marked cobbled paths and roadside pavement. Very challenging walk back up, even when you walk a lot but just doable if you can’t get a taxi. Como is up there with the most beautiful places any of us has visited and will return any time of year. Great and memorable weekend had by all.

Casa Laura Apt.6 is a well equiped apartment, in a great location and perfect to house me, my husband and his parents whilst we explored the region. The views from the balcony and the pool area are spectacular, the pool was a great addition to the property.

Die Wohnung sieht auf den Bildern größer aus als sie letztlich ist. Was wirklich unschlagbar ist, ist die Aussicht. Dennoch waren wir mit dem Service vor Ort alles andere als zufrieden. In einem Schlafzimmer funktioniere das Rollo nicht, es ließ sich nicht öffnen. Wenn man den Schalter betätigte, flog die Sicherung im ganzen Haus raus. Wir haben zweimal bei der Vermietung angerufen, zweimal sprach man und Hilfe zu, aber es kam niemand! So konnten wir in den drei Tagen, die wir dort waren, ein Schlafzimmer nie lüften!

The good: Great location, AMAZING views of the lake from the rooftop pool deck, love the side patio for outdoor dining in, and the shower had great water pressure. The location in Plesio is nice to be up away from the fray of Menaggio, but also close enough to get to the centro quickly or go off on hikes like to Mt. Grona. Directions to the place were great. The bad: The A/C was broken the entirety of our stay when temps that week went as high as 90 F. The mgt company was slow to respond and then eventually stopped responding altogether. One of the bedroom's windows also wouldn't open so the room felt like a dungeon the entire time. The unit was pretty light on amenities like towels, detergent and toilet paper. The pool was also broken or off during our stay and got very dirty until I reached out to the mgmt company who finally fixed in on our second to last day. I'm not sure I'd stay here again - the place is cool and the price is decent, but you may have to be really flexible.

Absolument magnifique ! Un très grand merci pour la qualité du logement. De nombreux détails dans l’appartement très utiles. La vue est à couper le souffle ! El la piscine juste incroyable . Nous arrivons avec des lits fait, des serviettes pliées très joliment, des petits cadeaux d’arrivée. Nous reviendrons et conseillerons le logement à notre entourage

Very nice stay just above Mennagio on Lake Como. The views are outstanding from the balcony and pool area. I would stay here again next time we visit Lake Como.

Apartment was perfect, clean and high standard of furnishings. Kitchen and bathrooms well equipped. The key pick-up was very easy and generally had a lovely time!

Das Appartement in Plesio hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Ein besonderer Komfort war die Tiefgarage mit direktem Zugang in das Treppenhaus und die wunderbare Dachterrasse mit Pool und Ausblick über den See. Die Wohnung war gut ausgestattet und sehr gemütlich. Wie schon in der Beschreibung angekündigt, ist der Straßenverkehr zeitweise etwas unangenehm gewesen, was uns ja aber bekannt war. Etwas schwieriger war die Lösung mit der Abfallbeseitigung zu finden. Da könnte man im Vorfeld und in der Wohnung eine Beschreibung hinterlassen, wo man den Müll entsorgen kann. Wir wären sogar länger geblieben und kommen gern wieder.

This place is exactly what we needed. The place was big enough for 4 adults, clean and comfortable. The pool was a bonus and the views were spectacular! This place is so good we are looking at coming back to the same place next year!

Die Lage der Wohnung ist super und die Aussicht ein Traum. Von der Wohnung kann man andere Orte wie zb. Belgaio oder Varenna gut besuchen. Um in die Stadt nach Mengaggio zu kommen benötigt man aber ein Auto. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt !

This place is an absolute must if visiting Lake Como. The central lake location is perfect. The view is possibly the best I've ever seen. Both from the private balcony and the upstairs terrace with infinity pool. Perfect for sitting with a glass of wine in the evening as the sun goes down. We walked into Central Menaggio in around 17 minutes, down the steps through the historic area of Loveno, passed the Pizza restaurant (5 minutes walk) and the local Trattoria (6 minutes walk). Beautiful views en route. The apartment is well equipped with good WiFi and smart TV. Added bonus was the library of classic CDs which the kids enjoyed each evening before bed. The modern kitchen was much appreciated when we had been out all day visiting beautiful towns like Bellagio, Varenna and Argegno, to rustle up supper for our worn out children. The open plan design is very chic and well designed. If you want luxury this apartment is the perfect place to stay. Highly recommended. We hope to be back very soon. 10/10.

Super schöne Unterkunft mit tollem Blick auf den See. Für vier Personen völlig ausreichend und gut eingerichtet. Alles hat reibungslos funktioniert. In die Stadt runter benötigt man allerdings am besten schon ein Auto. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

June 2018 Beautiful location and views. Straight access from this apt. to the roof terrace and pool worked fine especially with kids. Only info that needs correction is that to the center of Menaggio the walking time is clearly more than given in the description. Though did not much bother us. Mikko, Sweden

Clean and very nice apartment with great views and well-functioning equipment. Great directions with illustrations on how to get there, use the garage etc. On the slightly negative side the pool was closed (mid October). We had not been informed about this and had been looking forward to swimming a bit. No big deal as the weather this week was mostly wet and relatively cold. For hikers: very easy access to great hikes to Monte Grona and Monte Bregagno with parking a few kilometers up the hill. A bit far to walk to Menaggio from the apt., but there are car-free and good short-cuts all the way down.

Views to die for from the property and the rooftop pool especially. Needs some maintenance and definitely new outdoor furniture which was in an embarrassingly awful state. Great walk down into town on a mixture of marked cobbled paths and roadside pavement. Very challenging walk back up, even when you walk a lot but just doable if you can’t get a taxi. Como is up there with the most beautiful places any of us has visited and will return any time of year. Great and memorable weekend had by all.

Casa Laura Apt.6 is a well equiped apartment, in a great location and perfect to house me, my husband and his parents whilst we explored the region. The views from the balcony and the pool area are spectacular, the pool was a great addition to the property.

Die Wohnung sieht auf den Bildern größer aus als sie letztlich ist. Was wirklich unschlagbar ist, ist die Aussicht. Dennoch waren wir mit dem Service vor Ort alles andere als zufrieden. In einem Schlafzimmer funktioniere das Rollo nicht, es ließ sich nicht öffnen. Wenn man den Schalter betätigte, flog die Sicherung im ganzen Haus raus. Wir haben zweimal bei der Vermietung angerufen, zweimal sprach man und Hilfe zu, aber es kam niemand! So konnten wir in den drei Tagen, die wir dort waren, ein Schlafzimmer nie lüften!

The good: Great location, AMAZING views of the lake from the rooftop pool deck, love the side patio for outdoor dining in, and the shower had great water pressure. The location in Plesio is nice to be up away from the fray of Menaggio, but also close enough to get to the centro quickly or go off on hikes like to Mt. Grona. Directions to the place were great. The bad: The A/C was broken the entirety of our stay when temps that week went as high as 90 F. The mgt company was slow to respond and then eventually stopped responding altogether. One of the bedroom's windows also wouldn't open so the room felt like a dungeon the entire time. The unit was pretty light on amenities like towels, detergent and toilet paper. The pool was also broken or off during our stay and got very dirty until I reached out to the mgmt company who finally fixed in on our second to last day. I'm not sure I'd stay here again - the place is cool and the price is decent, but you may have to be really flexible.
