We stayed at Pauline’s lovely flat over the new year and really enjoyed our stay. The flat is perfectly situated for Argentiere restaurants, ski hire (sport 2000 Cosmos) and Les Grands Montets ski lift and comfortably sleeps 6 without needing to encroach into the living room / socialising space. You also have access to ski lockers (albeit took a bit of finding!!) and it was amazing value for money. I’d happily stay again in the future! Thank you Pauline! Dave and family

Excellent location in the heart of Argentiere- good restaurants nearby, easy access to Grand Montets cable car and many walking trails. Apartment was quite small and quirky, but fine for the four of us. Key pick up and arrangements were all really good.

Good location and the minor negative that was the leak in the toilet was sorted out by the building factor (syndic) in good time. We were a group of 5, with all bunks occupied and one person in the double bed. The double room and bunks are both upstairs, with the double having a sliding door to close it off, while the bunks are part-open to the dining area downstairs. There is a bath and sink upstairs, and a sink and toilet downstairs. We were there for a ski trip, the lift for the Les Grands Montets ski area is a short walk (250M or so, quickest via the grass!), The bus stop for Le Tour and elsewhere is about 150M walk up the main street. Le Tour being about 15 mins by bus from here. A poss tip for folks at least on the outward journey would be to get the train to Valcorine instead and then come down the Le Tour side. The train is chargeable, but you buy the tickets onboard and we never saw a ticket person so it was free. We never found the ski-storage despite their being a key marked 'ski', rather we just took the skis up in the lift and stored on balcony. The balcony at least in winter also works well to chill beers! The lift holds 3 normal sized folks, the alarm went off when a 4th was added! also, note that if you want the lift at the wrong time 10-11am on rubbish day. Expect it to be occupied with rubbish! The rubbish disposal room is directly opposite the apartment on the same floor, very handy. Storage for such a small apartment is excellent, two huge cupboards upstairs and a load of huge drawers downstairs, way better than other places I have stayed where one lives out of a suitcase instead. Spots for hanging ski jackets and a spot for ski boots! Its a shame there is no conventional oven (just a microwave), but the dishwasher, stove, fridge etc all work fine. A lack of sockets (just 1 in the kitchen!) will prob see you re-locate the kettle like we did! There is a hoover in one of the drawers, brushes on the balcony, but sadly no mop! Take earplugs - if there is stuff going on next door or in the hallway you will hear it, but we never heard voices. We all slept well in pretty comfortable beds Nearby are a couple bars/restaurants, the Rencard also doing pretty decent food, and the Fubar offering you the opportunity to fall up the steep stairs, after getting Fubar'ed! Up in the village the outdoor shop Namaste also has a wee bar that closes at 7PM, but sells well priced (for cham) local beer with a smile. We may have ended up here for a couple hours most nights, and getting kicked out at 7PM encourages the eating of food! If you arrive by car, do yourself a favour and visit the last Lidl on the way at Schoinzier, just off the motorway. Avoid the Aldi here tho, its rubbish - but does have a huge decathlon opposite. Usual French ski resort prices can be expected in the (pretty decent) SuperU in Argentiere. You get just the one key (upper lock), you could opt to leave the key in the key-room where there is a key-safe if you are a large group. I just bought a keysafe with a cable for £13 off amazon and locked it to the handy metal rungs on the stairs. This then gave everyone access via a code without trapsing to the key room each time. The place grew on our group during our stay so don't let first impressions put you off. Would happily go back, my body still thinks its skiing the now while I am stuck @ work!

Se rappeler que endroit pour les clefs un peu difficile à trouver et ne pas transiger le dimanche car bureau fermé. Sinon appartement OK. Ménage non fait à notre arrivée mais les responsables de la location ont assurés le suivi tout de suite. L'emplacement près du train et des services et le prix étaient nos principaux avantages.

nous avons passé un bon séjour dans cet appartement, au calme de la foule de Chamonix. L'emplacement permet de faire pas mal de randonnées avec ou sans enfant. un petit bémol cependant concernant le ménage. Il y avait pas mal de poussière sur les escaliers + cheveux, idem pour la moquette des chambre. dommage au regard des tarifs de ménage. Néanmoins je pense que c'est un assez bon rapport qualité prix par rapport au prix autour de Chamonix.

This apartment is small and compact in a fantastic location (handy for lifts, bus, train station, restaurants, bakery) but despite its size actually feels spacious enough due to big windows, plenty of light and a white, contemporary finish with some nice ‘nods’ to the mountain environment with art and books. Advertised as for up to six people, I think this would be a real squeeze. We used the extra room for all our gear but if you’re a group of friends looking for a very affordable place to stay in Chamonix valley then this is probably as good as it gets! The building needs some work although some work seemed to be happening in the lobby… slowly. (We were there for three weeks). We also didn’t use the ski storage as it was so small it didn’t fit our gear and the room it was in was the most unpleasant part of the building. We just used our balcony which worked nicely. All in all a good affordable option for the area and compared to much else at the same price point, a lot nicer.

About the parking it is true that it can be full however it is only for the grand Roc residence so it already gives advantage. The tourist tax is 2.3€ per person per night. As per our standard, we ask to receive payment before arrival so the guest does not have to worry about anything once arrived.

Good afternoon, Thank you for your reservation and comment. We are happy that you liked the location and the communication. About the parking it is true that it can be full however it is only for the grand Roc residence so it already gives advantage. The tourist tax is 2.3€ per person per night. As per our standard, we ask to receive payment before arrival so the guest does not have to worry about anything once arrived.
