The hosts were super responsive and the view was beautiful! Town is only a 10/15 min walk away, but down a fairly steep dirt road with no lights (not ideal at night).

Stunning views! The place was clean and beautiful. Once you learn few shortcuts, very easy to get to. Everyone at the office for check in is extremely helpful and very nice. Would definitely recommend and visit again!

Diego was very helpful with getting us a Taxi to the property and getting us an extra hour at checkout. I would recommend telling people that they should not try to walk to the property with the driving directions. It would have been very dangerous. We were happy however to find the walking trail when venturing back into town.

We have stayed in nearly 20 AirB&B’s over the many years, and we did not feel this apartment reflected the photos online, or the overall listing price. The apartment was quite hard to find, and the instructions were almost useless in the dark. We arrived and found the beds unmade and the quilts in the cupboard to have spots of blood over them. We ended the holiday with 9 bites on our arms and legs which we think were from the quilts. In terms of cleaning, there was a lot of dust over all bed side units, and dead insects on the floors. The bathroom shower curtain was mouldy. Also annoyingly all the electrical items in the apartment (hairdryer, toaster, kettle etc) use German plugs, which could not be used in the sockets without the 1 adapter provided (which was impractical). Garden furniture is white plastic, and no umbrella, not the wooden ones as shown in the photos. Toilet seat was also broken. The cleaning fee of almost £200 is completely unreasonable as the apartment felt unclean. On the plus side the location is good, and the view from the balcony is great. I do not wish to write such a review but I would say to consider other apartments at this price point - as we were disappointed.

Having to pick up keys to the house at the management office a few miles away was not good. Also the gate to garage had a remote that sometimes does not work. But, you cant complain when you have that view. Only 1 Bathroom was not ideal.

Menaggio is a good choice of village to stay in on Lake Como. The apartment is conveniently located around a 10 minute walk from the ferry and town centre. Although take a torch at night as 1/2 of it is along a dirt track. You can go the long way round if preferred or are driving. taxis are few and far between and best booked at least an hour or so in advance. Weekly ferry pass is recommended as queues are enormous! Supermarket Conad and the e-bike hire joined to it both highly recommended. The hostel on way to town , just after dirt track is fantastic, great staff (especially Axel & friends) food, drinks and location used by lots of friendly locals, we made so many new friends. The Italians although can be grumpy at work! are exceptionally helpful if you get stuck or require extra help. several went wayyyyyy out there way to help us. Note you have to go into town first to get keys from an office there is no keybock at the property as you find in most air bnbs, not great when you have a ton of luggage!

Insgesamt sehr schöne Wohnung mit toller Terrasse mit super Blick auf den Comer See. Leider hatte die Terrasse aber keine Holzsitzmöbel, wie auf den Fotos gezeigt, sondern nur billige Sitzmöbel aus Plastik - obwohl es in der Garage schöne Holzsitzmöbel gab, die der Vermieter für seine Gäste anscheinend nicht zur Verfügung stellen will. Sehr schade. Außerdem gibt es über der Ferienwohnung eine weitere Wohnung, deren Balkon genau zur Terrasse der Ferienwohnung hinausgeht. Während unseres Aufenthalts war diese obere Wohnung immer bewohnt mit relativ lauten Bewohnern, die wir auf unserer Terrasse dann leider sehr gut hören konnten. Das war insgesamt auszuhalten, ist aber ein Risiko.

The positive is the view of the lake, which is stunning. However it's worth noting that the outdoor space is shaded during the early evening, so not quite what we wanted (but to be fair, not the fault of the property). Inside needs updating. The light switches had gaffer tape on, which felt very hazardous, the kitchen while looking clean felt sticky on every surface, the apartment had a smell about it (possibly from a dirty mop) that only went away after we'd had to buy our own cleaning products and a scented candle. The sheets were clean, but the duvets and pillows beneath them were not!! The pillows in the master bedroom actually crunched, it was like sleeping on a bag of crisps. There were frequent power cuts. Also the TV did not work. The management company did respond to our messages, but did nothing to fix them or offer much help in any way. Finally you need to park your car in a lockable garage and the door to it is very temperamental.

Having to pick up keys to the house at the management office a few miles away was not good. Also the gate to garage had a remote that sometimes does not work. But, you cant complain when you have that view. Only 1 Bathroom was not ideal.

Menaggio is a good choice of village to stay in on Lake Como. The apartment is conveniently located around a 10 minute walk from the ferry and town centre. Although take a torch at night as 1/2 of it is along a dirt track. You can go the long way round if preferred or are driving. taxis are few and far between and best booked at least an hour or so in advance. Weekly ferry pass is recommended as queues are enormous! Supermarket Conad and the e-bike hire joined to it both highly recommended. The hostel on way to town , just after dirt track is fantastic, great staff (especially Axel & friends) food, drinks and location used by lots of friendly locals, we made so many new friends. The Italians although can be grumpy at work! are exceptionally helpful if you get stuck or require extra help. several went wayyyyyy out there way to help us. Note you have to go into town first to get keys from an office there is no keybock at the property as you find in most air bnbs, not great when you have a ton of luggage!

Insgesamt sehr schöne Wohnung mit toller Terrasse mit super Blick auf den Comer See. Leider hatte die Terrasse aber keine Holzsitzmöbel, wie auf den Fotos gezeigt, sondern nur billige Sitzmöbel aus Plastik - obwohl es in der Garage schöne Holzsitzmöbel gab, die der Vermieter für seine Gäste anscheinend nicht zur Verfügung stellen will. Sehr schade. Außerdem gibt es über der Ferienwohnung eine weitere Wohnung, deren Balkon genau zur Terrasse der Ferienwohnung hinausgeht. Während unseres Aufenthalts war diese obere Wohnung immer bewohnt mit relativ lauten Bewohnern, die wir auf unserer Terrasse dann leider sehr gut hören konnten. Das war insgesamt auszuhalten, ist aber ein Risiko.

The positive is the view of the lake, which is stunning. However it's worth noting that the outdoor space is shaded during the early evening, so not quite what we wanted (but to be fair, not the fault of the property). Inside needs updating. The light switches had gaffer tape on, which felt very hazardous, the kitchen while looking clean felt sticky on every surface, the apartment had a smell about it (possibly from a dirty mop) that only went away after we'd had to buy our own cleaning products and a scented candle. The sheets were clean, but the duvets and pillows beneath them were not!! The pillows in the master bedroom actually crunched, it was like sleeping on a bag of crisps. There were frequent power cuts. Also the TV did not work. The management company did respond to our messages, but did nothing to fix them or offer much help in any way. Finally you need to park your car in a lockable garage and the door to it is very temperamental.

Het terras met uitzicht op het Como meer is fantastisch. De keuken is goed uitgerust met benodigde apparatuur. De bedden zijn goed.
