Loved the apartment. Very central and close to shops, restaurants, bar and the seafront. Overlooked a busy square and although noisy, we love the buzz, it might not suit if you like a peaceful apartment. The windows certainly kept out any noise once closed. We ate in a few times and felt the kitchen had everything we needed. Host was extremely responsive and getting early access to the apartment was great. Would recommend this apartment for a couple.

When booking, we didn’t realize how amazingly located the place was: we were right in the center of Nice next to Galeries Lafayette, within walkable distance of the Old Nice, and surrounded by tons of nice restaurants and bars. The place was very clean, and the team was helpful and responsive. We will definitely come back!

A great central location and view tidy apartment that catered for all our needs. Whilst we were primarily in Nice to explore the town, Cannes and Monte Carlo the apartment also provided a great base to chill and relax in our own company. I think it will be hard to find a better apartment for the price. The keys were easy to collect from a lock box five minutes walk from the apartment, and the communications were excellent not only before but throughout our stay. We always felt that if we needed to reach out for help that Leo would reply very quickly. Thank you Happy Rentals!! Craig & Lucy.

The communication with the Happy Rentals-team was excellent, and they always responded prompt and with clear instructions. On the day of our departure, we were offered to store our luggage in Happy Rentals' offices (as no late check-out from the apartment was possible and our flight was not until the evening). We would use Happy Rentals again and can highly recommend them as a serious, professional, reliable and trustworthy company.

Prime location overlooking a charming square from the balcony. One of the nicest holiday apartments we have ever stayed in. Prime condition close to shopping, cafees and restaurants, nice and new furniture, wonderful and bright with plenty of sunlight, electric blinds, well-equipped kitchen - everything was super nice and very clean - and with great attention to detail. We would love to stay there again!

The apartment area was amazing! The apartment was clean and well-equipped, just we needed to be careful with the water tank (it was small, so we had to wait for the warmer water for the next shower), but overall, we had a great stay. I highly recommend it!

Lara's apartment was exactly what I expected. We were surprised by the noise of the neighbourhood but with the great double glazed windows and shutters we acclimatised very quickly. Very interesting neighbourhood for people watching, amazing food options, supermarkets and of course the scenery. Beautiful architecture wherever you looked and walked. wonderful location to base yourself, everything easy to access and good layout for a city. We went to Monte Carlos for the day on the train which was easy but a not so comfortable experience. I would recommend this apartment to an active couple, there is a lift which works well and stairs if your feeling energetic. If you are happy to be in the restaurant hub which is lively with street artists,which we loved, this is perfect Negatives- not enough towels, no covers on second pillowcase but I imagine that would have rectified if I had asked. Very happy to recommend Thank you

The apartment was exactly as expected. The bed was comfortable and left us feeling well rested. The windows in the bedroom do not have shades so either bring something with you (we always do) or that morning sun will let you know the day has begun. The kitchen, bathroom, and living room were all very clean and as pictured. We got into town well before check in and were allowed to get into the apartment early. A very welcomed accommodation after a long day of travel. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and would stay here again.

Highlights: Amazing host: Elsa was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout my stay. She even went above and beyond by letting me check in early at 10 am, which was a lifesaver after a long journey. Great location: The location was convenient and close to many amenities. Comfortable space: The apartment was clean and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Minor points to note: Shower issue: The shower unfortunately did get cold after about 20 minutes of use. It might be helpful for Elsa to mention this in the listing or consider having it looked at. Limited amenities: While the apartment had a washing machine, it would have been convenient to have detergent available. Additionally, providing one small roll of toilet paper for a 3-day stay felt a bit insufficient. Overall, I would definitely recommend Elsa's place to others, and I would consider staying there again myself in the future. With a few minor adjustments, it could be an even more perfect.

Wir fanden es wunderbar, dass die Wohnung im Palais Massena so zentral liegt und viel Interessantes und Schönes schnell erreichbar ist - das Meer, die belebte Innenstadt, die Altstadt, der Schlossberg und natürlich auch der Airport. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet, das Bett hat eine gute Qualität und die kleine Küche hält alles nötige Zubehör bereit. Dankbar waren wir für den guten Service und die schnellen SMS-Antworten auf unsere Fragen. Wir würden diese Wohnung wieder mieten und können sie guten Gewissens empfehlen. Jürgen F.

Prime location and perfect for our 3 day stay in Nice. If you want to be in the center of all the action and close to all areas this is the spot for you. Great location if you like being central, which we do. We are an over 60 couple from Canada. Quiet at night with the windows close. Location was close to all shopping and the promenade de anglais is only an5 minute walk away. This apartment is in the pedestrian zone.

Mireille was an excellent host and very responsive; the apartment was perfect for two people. It is in a perfect location overlooking a small courtyard with bistros and located just off one of the main shopping strips but is incredibly quiet. We will definitely try to stay here again in the future should it be available!

The Magenta apartment was perfectly located in a charming area of the city - perfect for anyone looking for a central location within walking distance of the major sites and restaurants. Just outside the door is a cheerful assortment of cafes and shops bustling with activity. Inside the apartment it is quiet and comfortable. The balcony is narrow but you can sit outside and enjoy the ambiance of the French Riviera. The elevator is an interesting antique of sorts but it functions well enough. We had internet problems but they were quickly resolved by our host Mireille. We strongly recommend this place!

I would definitely stay here again! Mireille was a great host - her instructions were clear, detailed, and she was quick to respond to any requests or questions. The location of this unit is fantastic - so close to restaurants, bars, shops, the beach and more. With this being in such a great location there is some noise but with ear plugs it wasn’t an issue for us. Thanks for the pleasant stay!

Everything was great! The apartment is beautiful and is located very conveniently with restaurants downstairs. Only the check in was slightly an effort because we had to go to the office to retrieve the keys with the luggage. Otherwise, I would recommend the stay and Mireille is very responsive and helpful.

This apartment is amazing! You’re in a really good location, it’s a great size and decorated beautifully. The balcony is the perfect spot to have wine, bread and cheese in the evening too! The communication with the host was fabulous and collecting and dropping off the keys was super easy. The only minor downsides are that you are on a square so there is some noise at night. Not a problem if you have the air con on as it drowns out the light street chatter. The air con however is the other small downside. It’s more like a fan and doesn’t cool down the apartment. Overall though I’d give this apartment 9/10, the air con is the only thing that lets it down slightly. Everything else was just perfect! 😊

Lovely little apartment on the third floor. (not second) Modernized in a charming old building. Perfect located at a walking street with restaurants and bars just outside the front door. A stone throw to the beach and only a couple of hundred meters walk from the tram which takes you to or from the airport for just 1,5 E. Quality and Location! Perfect for a couple who wants to experience the Riviera atmosphere. Couldn't be better.

Mireille molto disponibile, molto facile comunicare con lei. L’appartamento si trova zona pedonale ma lo scarico e carico dei bagagli avviene agilmente in quanto l’ingresso si trova vicino ad un marciapiedi. Sotto casa non manca nulla dai migliori negozi ai supermercati e negozi di ogni genere.

Lara’s apartment is fabulously located (although it is in a busy area, so expect some noise overnight). It is also very clean and exactly as portrayed in the photographs. We loved our stay and really appreciated the clear instructions about how to get there/pick up the keys etc. Happy Rentals were brilliant in helping us with extra pillows and a few other queries too. For full transparency, there are a few minor shortcomings - the shower runs out of hot water quite quickly, the bathroom lighting isn’t the best for shaving(!), there is no hanging space for long items like dresses, the air-con unit is effective but the rooms are still hot in peak Summertime. If you want to watch any TV channels in English you’ll need to select Netflix. The balcony is cute but tiny. Things I really liked included the coffee machine(!), the quirky lift and the character of the building. The restaurant immediately downstairs was also really nice and friendly. So, would we go back? 100%, we loved it!

This stay was a perfect location in Nice and we loved our time there! However, there are a few things that made the stay slightly less “homey”. The shower is a bit difficult as the hot water didn’t last long enough for two showers and water ends up covering the entire bathroom floor. I also found it strange that we were asked to log into a separate website for the rental company and register our personal information since we booked through Airbnb.

Really lovely apartment with great facilities. The lift is an added bonus, especially in this part of Nice. The long windows and canopy were great at this time of year to keep the rooms cool. The balcony is very small. We had to bring the table into the apartment to use the chairs. Also be aware that this is a very busy area, the ground floor on all sides are restaurants/cafes which were open to modnight or 1am. We loved feeling part of the bustle, so was no issue for us but others might struggle with the late nights, then bins being emptied at 8am!
