Absolutely gorgeous property, we had a week here in July, the villa is really big and spacious, the views are stunning, the photos do not do it justice at all! really good communication before and during our stay with clear instructions and help when needed, via whats app making things really easy. the only :negative " to to trip was once out in the town, parking spaces are really limited , we drove around carparks dor an hour to then return to the villa. the walk to the town is not an easy one, a narrow winding road with no pavement or through some woods both around 30minutes. The other option is a taxi but we learned there were only 3 taxi drivers in the whole town of menaggio! only one answered there phone and was really helpful but the 10mins drive into town was €25 . we were a party of 7 so he did 2 trips for us costing us €100 return each evening. All worth it for such an amazing spot but costly for some.

This house was beautiful and clean. The view of the lake is absolutely stunning. The host did a fabulous job of communicating and sending check in/out instructions making our arrival smooth and easy. My only to caution future renters, the location is absolutely not walkable. You should rent a car if staying here as the public transportation, although it is located near the house, it is VERY unreliable and stops running at 830pm. Not knowing this, we unfortunately found ourselves in some difficult and unsafe situations. Please know I'm only sharing hoping others can avoid the transportation issues we experienced but IT IS IN NO WAY A REFLECTION ON THE HOUSE OR HOST. You should know this house will not disappoint and the host is great. I would absolutely recommend this house if you plan to stay in Menaggio.

Overall så är det bra boende. Jätte fint med väldigt bra standard. Magisk utsikt! Det finns busshållplats nära intill men slutar gå kl 21:00 och som alternativ saknades gångväg från boendet till centrum ytan. Man fick gå på bilvägen som är livsfarligt. Ett av rummen var jätte kall och saknade element.

What a beautiful property! We enjoyed the outdoor space & the convenience to the pool! It was very hot while we were there, so the main living area grew hot during the day, but the A/C in the bedroom level made it very comfortable for sleeping. While it was a little far from town, it made up for that with an outstanding view & a lovely quiet place for relaxing after busy days touring! It was a perfect size for the 8 of us!

Zeer comfortabele woning, schoon met fijn zwembad. Lopen naar Menaggio is helaas niet mogelijk. Communicatie was goed. Uitleg over vindbaarheid en parkeren en sleutels was er niet. In een mail meer uitleg is noodzakelijk.

Sehr schöne Wohnung, wunderschöne Aussicht. Wohnung ist leicht zu finden und man bekommt eine super Beschreibung von allem vom Vermieter. Wohnung war sauber, abgesehen von den Ecken wo sich der Stau ansammelt.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Le logement est qualitatif : équipement, confort, emplacement avec vue imprenable sur le lac. Avec, en prime, un petit cadeau d'accueil, c'était top.

It was a wonderful condo. The kitchen is well stocked. It has all the necessities to set a tables for surprise guests. They were quite impressed. Be aware that the only bathrooms are downstairs on lower level with bedroom. Otherwise hosts were responsive to our request of light bulbs, that actually went out the very next morning.

Amazing views! The location was very convenient to the Menaggio city center. Easy to find thanks to the very detailed instructions. Perfect for two or three couples.

We had 8 people including 2 young children. Everything was as advertised. The view was sensational but coming with that is the fact you are a long way up the hill, with transport options limited. Worth compromising though.

This place felt like a millionaire's mansion by the lake: splendid view of lake Como, high end Miele appliances, luxury chairs, etc. Definitely will stay again for my next trip to Menaggio. And many thanks for accomodating my request!

Beautiful house with incredible amenities, bedrooms and views of the lake! The perfect place for a chilled break away! If you don’t have a car, the walk back up from the town is a little challenging, but a very nice villa indeed

Beautiful place! The view was everything. Very clean and organized. Check in was throughly explained so it was very easy to find the location and enter the apartment. To get to the apartment a car is necessary especially if you have big luggage.

Potential renters should be made aware that if they don’t have a car it will be quite strenuous to access the property from the village of Menaggio (especially in the hot months). Local taxis during peak months are practically unavailable. Otherwise the property is very nice with spectacular views.

Beautiful villa, views are stunning and apartment is well equipped. Only tiny negative is that you can only walk into town via a 30 minute trail, part of which is narrow and steep on a footpath. Otherwise a car is necessary.

The Airbnb was everything we expected- beautiful, spacious and the most amazing views! The only problem we ran into was transportation, would definitely recommend renting a car if you plan to stay here, it’s not walkable to town and we couldn’t get taxis any where in lake como. The Airbnb itself was amazing though!

Our Lago di Como place was the perfect location. We enjoyed the spectacular views of Lake Como and enjoyed the pool during very hot days. The drive into town was quick to collect groceries, walk through Menaggio, or hop on a easy ferry to the beautiful town of Bellagio. We would highly recommend this location. Paul

Die Unterkuft ist wunderschön, es hat sich geloht! Das einzige was uns etwas gestôrt hat, war dass es unten sehr sehr kalt war ( Im hochsommer super) Und das wlan hat im UG leider nicht funktioniert… Ansonsten ist die Unterkunft wirklich zum empfehlen! Auch der Pool war total angenehm!

This place has great views and spacious! However, the WiFi was not working downstairs and the WiFi was spotty upstairs. Also, one of the showers were stopped up. I contacted the host and he attempted to resolve the issue with the WiFi and the shower but it was not resolved. If you care about having WiFi, I would not recommend this place until issue is fixed. Pool was not cleaned as well.

This property has one of the most magnificent views on the lake. It’s a million dollar view. However the property advertised it has HVAC. This is not the case. The upstairs level which is the living space has no Hvac. Two of the three bed rooms downstairs do have HVAC though. The property had standing fans so the owners knew the advertising was false. The property managers were very communicative about everything except became dodgy when we asked about the A/C. There were also ants in some of the bedrooms. For the price though, the space is large, and the view you can’t beat! If you can stand the heat in the living space upstairs this is a great property for its views. If you need cool air, you may want to consider other options.

The property is lovely, beautiful gardens and lots of space for our group (5 adults, 2 children). We had pretty much everything we needed within the house and parking was readily available. There are a few areas for improvement… internet access does not extend throughout the property. And the jacuzzi in the master bathroom didn’t work and neither did the plug on the bidet. There was an Ant problem in both of the back bedrooms. I tried to contact the host on the morning of one of our days and had to try 3 channels across the day before I received a response at the end of the day. Overall I would be happy to stay again as I believe this is all easily resolved and once the host was helpful once they responded.

Beautiful home, although not too accessible to the town below. Have to walk on the highway a bit if you don’t rent a car or if you miss the bus. There were a few items that would have been nice to have; dish soap for the dishwasher, detergent for the washer, simple spices in the kitchen, and wifi that reached all the rooms. There were some ants in the rooms, but pretty manageable with a vacuum. We really enjoyed the comfortability of the home and how cozy it was. Great views from the balconies. Showers never seemed to run out of hot water. Beds were very comfortable.

Location and view were great. For sure need a rental car but parking in the lower lot was easy. The two bedrooms are nice. Third bedroom has no windows, so not amazing. No AC upstairs so was blistering hot. Nice proximity to pool and really great outdoor space. The beds were terrible. Like sleeping on bricks. They badly need new beds or at least some serious mattress pads. I wouldn’t stay there again simply because the beds. Fix the beds and I’m back.

The property itself is exactly as listed. Well appointed and you will want for nothing. The views are absolutely stunning and it’s a true 3-bedroom duplex. The only complaint we have is really about the location and I guess Menaggio itself. I feel bad writing this, because it’s such a nice property; but I feel families, especially with young kids deserve to understand what they are signing up for. Essentially the stunning view comes at a cost, because it’s not possible to walk down to the village. And believe me when I tell you no matter how adventurous you are or how much you love climbing hills, it’s not possible. The roads are absolutely treacherous and there’s no space for anyone to walk, let alone an actual sidewalk! In addition, taxis don’t seem to exist in Menaggio, unless your host or a local books one for you 24hrs in advance, and most drivers have no interest in a 1.5 mile trip. Therefore, your only option is to rent a car, and drive down every day. Which I’m fine with in principle, I grew up driving on really narrow roads like this in Ireland. However; once you get down to Menaggio, there’s absolutely no parking, during business hours, ANYWHERE! It’s insanely frustrating. For this reason alone, I probably wouldn’t stay here again. It was beautiful and perfect for six people, but the up and down the hill, and trying to find parking. is just way too frustrating! P.s. The local bus also doesn’t seem to run. My folks waited about an hour, two different times for it; and it never showed.

The unit is nice. However, the place was very dusty, they did not provide a wifi password for the downstairs signal which is where all the rooms are and the upstairs wifi is out of range, there is a bug/spider problem, the master bath shower is a pain to use and shoots water all over the bathroom floor, and there is no walkable route to get into the city.

This location offers magnificent vistas of the mountains and lake como. The apartment is beautiful and comfortable. However response with property management was not addressed such as an unlockable bedroom entry door and no thermostat heating instructions which resulted in very chilly interior conditions.
